You don’t have to arrive early into Launceston, but we highly recommend you do. Time on your side? Walk the short distance to Cataract Gorge, home to the longest single-span chairlift in the world. It’s quite the ride, taking you up high into this intensely beautiful, and spiritual, place, yours on a Choice Experience. Otherwise, meet your Travel Director and fellow Tassie companions for a drink in the evening.

A city in northern Tasmania, known for historic architecture, gorges, and food.
You’ll smell Bridestowe before you see it. This huge lavender farm perfumes the countryside when it blooms from late spring to early summer. The lavender isn’t just for pretty photos either, it turns up in ice cream, teas and jams, so you can taste the region too. Next, stop at the Legerwood Carved Memorial Trees, a moving tribute where trees have been sculpted into WWI soldiers. By evening, you’ll be in Bicheno. Want a cute local moment? Join a Choice Experience for an after-dark penguin spotting and watch little penguins waddle in from the sea.

- PORT ARTHUR: Port Arthur has steps up to some of the buildings and uneven surfaces, however the majority is on a sealed path.

30 days or more prior to departure - $175/person penalty.
2-29 days or more prior to departure - $280/person penalty.
Day of departure no show or late - 100% of purchase amount as penalty.
If the tour include airtickets, additional $75+airline surcharge will be charged as penalty.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
