Larco Museum
You will be transferred from your hotel to Lima Airport to take a flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be escorted to your selected hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the enchanting and magical city of Cusco, once the capital of the Inca Empire.
First, visit the Santo Domingo Convent, located within the Coricancha Temple. Next, head to the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, the main church of Cusco. Then, explore the ruins of the Sacsayhuaman Fortress in the hills of Cusco, followed by a visit to the Qenqo Archaeological Site. After that, stroll through the Puca Pucara Military Complex and the Tambomachay Ruins, known as the Inca Baths. Finally, return to your hotel.
Note: It is recommended that you book the earliest flight from Lima to Cusco, arrival no later than 10:30am.

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive along the Sacred Valley to the Moray archaeological site, known for its mysterious concentric circular terraces and different microclimates. Then continue to Maras to visit the pre-Columbian salt mines still in operation. The salt pans create a stunning landscape. Afterwards, return to your hotel.
Note: During the rainy season (December to March), the salt mines may be inaccessible and the tour may be replaced by a visit to Chinchero (South Valley).

- High-altitude cities If your trip includes a visit to high-altitude cities such as Cusco and Puno located at more than 3400 meters (11 200 feet above sea level), do not forget to take precautions in order to avoid altitude sickness. Passengers who have heart problems or high blood pressure should check with their doctor before traveling
- IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEW ENTRANCE REGULATIONS TO MACHU PICCHU
- The current restrictions on visits to Machu Picchu allow a maximum stay of 4 hours in the citadel (2 hours and a half accompanied by a guide).
- To help preserve the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary and maintain its World Heritage status, the Ministry of Culture has designated various visitor circuits. The specific circuit and schedule will be assigned based on availability at the time your reservation is confirmed.
- The following objects are forbidden: professional cameras that require lights and tripods, or with telephoto lenses heavier than 2 kilos (in order to use them, special authorization is needed, as well as the payment of an additional fee), drones, selfie sticks, sprays, high heels, walking sticks without rubber tip, banners and posters, sharp objects and backpacks bigger than 40cm x 35 cm x 20 cm
- INSTRUCTIONS
- Carry the same document that you presented to the agency, given that the train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu will be issued with the same information
- In all train services to Machu Picchu, the passenger can carry only hand luggage (backpack, bag, or briefcase) weighing no more than 5kg / 11lb on the train to/from Machu Picchu. You will find your luggage at the chosen hotel. Allowed size: 62 linear inches 157cm (height + length + width)
- What do I need to bring? Comfortable and light clothing is recommended for visiting the coastal areas of Peru, while for the high Andean area; use of warm clothing is ALSO recommended. It is not recommended that visitors wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothes when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
Policies
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted, and the amount is total purchase amount - third-party companies amount)
40 days or more prior to departure - $100/person.
30-39 days or more prior to departure - 30% of remaining amount.
19-29 days prior to departure - 50% of remaining amount.
Within 18 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Holiday special policies: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, National Day or other long weekend holidays are the peak season. Air tickets, transportation, meals and hotel accommodation during the peak season shall not be changed in name, date and itinerary, and the fees are not refundable.
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, TakeTours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
