Itinerary
Guests should meet at Kings Cross Station in London at 6:30am. We will then board a train bound for Edinburgh, Scotland. Upon arrival, we will take a bus tour of the city, passing by sites like the Royal Mile, Greyfriars Bobby, Holyroodhouse Palace, and more. Then, we will head to Edinburgh Castle to explore the amazing grounds. Afterwards, guests will have the remainder of the day to explore at their own pace. They should be sure to return to the train station 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information.

Edinburgh Castle
This historic and famous castle sits atop the Castle Rock precipice in the city of Edinburgh. Human occupation of the area that is now the fortress dates back to the second century AD or possibly even earlier.
Greyfriars Bobby Statue
This statue of a Skye Terrier pays homage to the legend of a dog named Greyfriars Bobby that is said to have sat at the grave of his deceased master for 14 years, until he died himself.
Holyrood Palace
The Palace of Holyroodhouse is the official Scottish residence of the royal family and has been since the 1500s. The structures on the palace ground dated back even further, to the founding of Hollyrood Abbey in 1128.

All tour schedules are arranged in advance. NO REFUNDS will be given to any customer failing to appear on the departure day.
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 1-2 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.
You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.
Currency Fluctuations:
All tour prices are current at the time of publication and are susceptible to currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.

Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)

8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.

For full day tours we offer convenient returns. The tour guides will find out where everyone is staying in London, while on tour. Then they will plan a route through London that is convenient for you, or advise you how to take the Underground or Bus services back to your hotel.

Unfortunately no. However, we do make regular stops, no more than 2 hours apart at most.
If you need to take your luggage with you, then you can put this on the bus. There is also left luggage at Victoria Coach Station.

We will make every effort to get your lost property back to you, and may ask you to pay for any cost involved.
We are able to take folding wheelchairs only on our buses. We do ask that you are able to climb the stairs on and off the coach with the aid of your helper. Bus driver and guide can also assist.
