Embark on a scenic coach journey through splendid countryside to one of Switzerland's most attractive alpine regions, the idyllic Bernese Oberland. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure exploring Interlaken, the adventure capital of Europe! Browse local stores for classic souvenirs or take the funicular (optional) up to Interlaken's local mountain Harder Kulm for splendid views over the two lakes and the surrounding peaks. Keen on an action-packed adventure? Choose from a wide range of optional activities like paragliding, canyoning, rafting or a JetBoat ride on the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz!

This small Swiss town is a very popular tourist destination because of its beautiful location nestled in a valley among the Alps. There is a famous monastery and many popular, old-fashioned hotels in the area.

Option 2: Zurich - Grindelwald (91 km)

Embark on a scenic coach journey through splendid countryside to one of Switzerland's most attractive alpine regions, the idyllic Bernese Oberland.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure exploring Grindelwald, the glacier village below the Eiger North Face! Take the cable car (optional) to Mt First and venture on the 40-meter long Cliff Walk by Tissot or hike one of the well-prepared trails and enjoy stunning views of the world-famous triple peaks Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
In the evening, you can choose from various restaurants with cuisine ranging from trendy to authentic local. Enjoy some folk music at a bar or ski lodge and turn night into day before enjoying a good night's sleep.

Grindelwald, SWITZERLAND

Grindelwald is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. In addition to the village of Grindelwald, the municipality also includes the settlements of Alpiglen, Burglauenen, Grund, Itramen, Mühlebach, Schwendi, Tschingelberg and Wargistal.

Day 2: Interlaken/Grindelwald - Jungfraujoch - Zurich (118 km)

Enjoy a rich buffet breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide at the designated meeting point and store your luggage in the bus. Board the Eiger Express cable car at Grindelwald Terminal for a breathtaking journey below the Eiger North Face. Change for a ride with the cogwheel railway through the tunnel to the summit of Jungfraujoch and immerse yourself in a fascinating alpine world of eternal snow and ice. Enjoy time at leisure to discover the summit attractions individually. Embark on the Alpine Sensation discovery tour and visit the Sphinx ObservationTerrace for the most breathtaking panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks, the neighboring countries, and the Aletsch Glacier. Explore the Ice Palace tunnels in the heart of the glacier and take a souvenir photo with the famous Swiss flag on the Plateau before recovering your strength at one of the available restaurants. Interlaken, SWITZERLAND

Jungfrau

It is the highest peak in Europe and the most attractive landscape in Berne Heights. It is called "Queen" of the Alps, 4158 meters above sea level, spanning 18 kilometers, just like a girl dressed in long hair, plain silver, lying quietly on her back between the clouds.

Eiger

It is the easternmost peak of a ridge crest that extends across the Monch to the Jungfrau at 4,158 m, constituting one of the most emblematic sights of the Swiss Alps.

Alpine Sensation

It was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Jungfrau Railway and opened on April 1, 2012. Here, you can not only enjoy the beautiful ice sculptures, but also understand the story behind the railway. The visitor route is 250 meters long, directly connecting the Sphinx Hall and the Ice Palace.

Sphinx Observatory

An astronomical observatory located above the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland. The open viewing deck accessible to the public is adjacent to the observatory. It offers views of the Jungfrau, Monch, and Eiger peaks, all within a few kilometers.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours
(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
