Itinerary
Arrive in Manila. Airport pick-up is included to a central boutique hostel. Settle into the 4-bed dorm at Z Hostel (or similar), and in the evening join the group for a welcome dinner on the rooftop terrace and enjoy drinks overlooking the Manila skyline.
Start the day with a leisurely breakfast, then take a short flight to Puerto Princesa. Enjoy free time for a refreshing swim in the pool, a relaxing massage, or simply unwind. Dinner is not included; in the evening, dine at a local restaurant in this coastal city. Overnight in twin/double rooms at Canvas Boutique Hotel (or similar).
Make an early start and head out to the UNESCO Underground River. Explore a portion of the accessible underground river by boat before stopping for lunch. Afterwards, continue on a scenic drive to the remote and stunning Port Barton. Spend the afternoon sipping fresh coconuts on golden sand while listening to island reggae. Massages are available as an optional activity. Tonight, sleep in traditional Filipino-style beach bungalows at Elsa's Cottages (or similar).
For the next two days, experience the island way of life with local guides exploring islands around Port Barton. Today, visit one of four local schools to interact with students and see the impact of your support; guests may bring school supplies or donate funds for projects such as kitchens and sports equipment. If schools are closed, visit the local daycare instead. In the evening, relax around a fire at the private beach camp, enjoy feasts of grilled fish, pork, rice, vegetables and fruit prepared by guides, and sleep in two-person tents on the beach. The school or daycare visit may occur on Day 4 or Day 5.
Today is day two of the island-hopping adventures. Continue to enjoy snorkelling around coral reefs and alongside turtles, showering in jungle waterfalls, exploring tiny islands, and simply taking it all in. Activities on Days 4 and 5 may alternate depending on each departure. Overnight in twin/double rooms at Elsa's Cottages (or similar).
After breakfast, take time to appreciate the surroundings before heading by van to El Nido. Surrounded by islands and towering cliffs, El Nido is a striking destination. Check into Spin Designer Hostel (or similar), then head to a favourite beach restaurant in the evening for food and fun. Dinner is not included. Optional activities include massage and beach clean-up.
Immerse yourself in Filipino culture with a jungle hike to discover lush flora and fauna, leading to an exclusive jungle hut for a day of activities such as cooking Filipino dishes, coconut tree climbing, stick fighting, coconut shaving, and traditional dances. Afterwards, unwind at Las Cabanas Beach or take an optional zipline (600/800 PHP) for an exhilarating ride between islands over the ocean. SUP is also optional. Overnight at Spin Designer Hostel (or similar).
El Nido, Philippines
El Nido is a coastal town in northern Palawan, Philippines, famous for its stunning limestone cliffs, crystal-clear lagoons, and rich marine biodiversity, often called the Philippines' last ecological frontier.
Las Cabanas Beach
Las Cabanas Beach is a popular white-sand beach near El Nido, famous for its stunning sunsets and clear waters, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxation.
Board a boat to take you around the spectacular tiny islands in the bay. Explore beautiful islands and blue waters, snorkel with new friends, and feast on freshly prepared food on board. Overnight at Spin Designer Hostel (or similar).
Do a short canopy walk up to the famous cliffs overlooking El Nido for a view of the bay and Cadlao Island. Afterwards, enjoy an included one-hour traditional Filipino massage near the beach. Optional activities, subject to availability, include an additional island-hopping day, scuba diving, boxing class, and surfing lesson. Overnight at Spin Designer Hostel (or similar).
After breakfast, pack and hop on the fast ferry to Coron. Check into accommodation and take the evening to explore Coron town and the nightlife of live music and street food. Dinner is not included. Overnight in twin/double rooms at Charms Hotel (or similar).
Today is a day at leisure. Relax at the accommodation or book an optional extra such as a Mount Tapyas hike, scuba diving, or an extra island-hopping tour.
Spend the day snorkelling in Coron's top destinations. Pass by beautiful landscapes and beaches while snorkelling through the waters. Explore the freshwater Barracuda Lake and visit the breathtaking Twin Lagoon. Spend the night on Pass Island, where you can unwind and enjoy a stunning sunset overlooking the ocean. Activities on Days 12 and 13 may alternate depending on each departure.
Continue the adventure on Coron Island. Explore the vibrant Coral Garden and admire the colourful marine life and coral formations. Explore the Lusong Gunboat Shipwreck, a World War II shipwreck now transformed into an underwater haven for snorkellers. After a morning of underwater exploration, unwind and rejuvenate at Maquinit Hot Springs. Activities on Days 12 and 13 may alternate depending on each departure. Overnight in twin/double rooms at Charms Hotel (or similar).

- What is the age range of the tour? We have an age range of 18–45 years old for our tours. Most of our guests are aged between 21 and 35 years old.
- Where should I fly into? Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL).
- Does it matter what time I leave on Day 14? As Day 14 is departure day, you can depart at any time. We recommend getting a flight from Busuanga Airport, and our tour guide will arrange your transport to the airport for you.
- Can I get picked up from the airport if I arrive before Day 1? Unfortunately, we only offer airport pick-ups on Day 1 of the tour, but we include easy and straightforward instructions in your welcome pack to help you get from the airport to the first hostel.
- Will I have time to go diving in Coron? Yes. We have a free day in Coron, and our tour guides can assist you in organising optional activities such as diving.
- I have never camped before. Can you tell me more about the beach camping? Sleeping in a tent on the beach will be one of the most unique and incredible things you will get to experience. It is a private beach with a purpose-built shelter to protect you from the weather. Each tent comes with a mattress, pillow and sheet and can fit two people. There is nothing like waking up on a deserted island, watching the sunrise and going for a morning swim.
- Can you cater for my dietary requirements on this trip? Yes, we can cater for most dietary requirements. Please notify us before arriving on Day 1 so we can arrange this for you.
- Can we swim with whale sharks on the tour? The main opportunity to swim with whale sharks in the Philippines is located in Cebu, which is a different island from Palawan and Coron, where we visit on tour. While we do not support or include whale shark swimming on tour, there are ethical opportunities within the Philippines. Should you travel further around the country after the tour, your guide can advise you on the best places to do so.
