On our way to the Los Penitentes ski center we will pass through places of such extraordinary beauty as Potrerillos and Uspallata, visit Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas and the historic Picheuta Bridge. From the ski center we head to the Inca Bridge - a fascinating geological formation with hot springs. We enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park (optional and only in the summer months, otherwise we continue to Christ the Redeemer) and continue along the path, making a stop at the Mirador del Aconcagua for the best view of the Aconcagua Mountain.
Continue to Las Cuevas - Argentina's last town before the Chilean border. Then at the end of the day we return to Mendoza.

After an early start, pass by the Cordon del Plata mountain range and the Potrerillos Dam, located along the Mendoza River. It's a very important hydraulic work that generates power and distributes water for irrigation to the whole region.
Continue to Uspallata, a pre-Hispanic settlement of Huarpes aborigines and the southern last point of the Inca Empire. Then, visit the villages of Picheuta, Polvareda, Punta de Vacas and Los Penitentes ski resort, where you will have some free time to use the chair lift and get amazing panoramic views of the area.
The next stop is a Cerro Aconcagua scenic viewpoint, located at 9,022 feet (2,750 meters) above sea level. From there, head to Horcones Lagoon and the Aconcagua Provincial Park. Following the international route, reach your final destination, the village of Las Cuevas, a European-style village, located 10,500 feet (3,200 meters) above sea level and the last Argentinian city before the Chilean border. A path between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel allows visitors up to the Cristo Redentor monument, located 13,780 feet (4,200 meters) above sea level, symbolizing the union between Argentinians and Chileans.
Embark on a full-day adventure from Mendoza as we head south through the stunning landscapes of the Uco Valley, where deserts, water mirrors and striking geological formations create a unique natural contrast.
