Guests should meet at the specified departure location in Milan to join this tour. Today, we will take an exciting segway tour of this jewel of northern Italy. Beginning in Sempione Park, our journey will take us to the city's best places, like Arco della Pace, Castello Sforzesco, Piazza dei Mercanti, Piazza Duomo, Piazza Fontana, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Teatro della Scala, Pinacoteca di Brera, and much more! After about 3 hours, the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
Milan, Italy
This city in the northernmost part of Italy is a global center for fashion and design. Its artistic history dates back hundreds and hundreds of years; places like Santa Maria delle Grazie are decorated with Leonardo da Vinci's work.
Duomo
Milan's cathedral is the largest in all of Italy and the fifth largest in the world. The groundbreaking occurred in 1386; however, construction was not completed until 1965. Visitors can access the rooftops, which provide amazing views of the city.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the world's oldest shopping malls, dating back to 1877. This dramatic building features exclusive, upscale stores as well as some of the oldest shops and restaurants in the city.
Sforza Castle
This castle in the northern reaches of Italy was built by Francesco Sforza in the 1400s. As it underwent renovations in the ensuing centuries, it became one of the largest citadels in Europe. Today is is home to several museums.
Teatro alla Scala
Usually known simply as "La Scala," this Milanese theater is a world-renown opera house that was founded in 1778. Premieres at the theater include Giacomo Puccini's "Madame Butterfly," among a litany of others. It underwent major renovations in the early 2000s.

- The Segway is appropriate for riders aged 12 and older. Riders must have mobility to climb and descend stairs without assistance. The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds (45 kilos) or over 250 pounds (113 kilos). For safety reasons, women who are under 2 month pregnant should not operate the Segway.
- Currency Fluctuations: All tour prices are current at the time of publication and susceptible to currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.
Policies
All participants must be at least 16 years of age and weigh at least 100 pounds
(45kgs) and not in excess of 260 (118kgs) pounds.
Children under 16 years of age cannot take part of the tour.
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 1 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.
Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.
Cancellation Policy: The payment is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 8 business days or more prior to the scheduled tour. Cancellations received within 4-7 days of departure will incur a penalty of 30% of total purchase amount. The payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed train, etc.) within 3 business days of the scheduled tour. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Rain Policy: The tour operates rain or shine. In case of heavy rain, the bike tour may proceed as a walking tour instead. Guest options on rainy days:
Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if Segways are not ridden due to rain, or if the Segway tour is abbreviated due to rain.
50% refund for client cancellation
Rain check to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to the client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
