Itinerary
Depart from Montreal and drive east along the St. Lawrence River. Visit the Pointe-au-Pere Maritime Historic Site, climb the second-tallest lighthouse in Canada, watch a 4D film about the Empress of Ireland shipwreck, and see the exterior of Canada's only decommissioned submarine on public display. Continue to Gaspe for overnight accommodation.

Rimouski is a Canadian city located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent (Quebec) region at the mouth of the Rimouski River. In November, the town is the host of the yearly Salon du Livre de Rimouski, the oldest event of the kind in the province of Quebec.
Pointe-au-Pere Lighthouse
The lighthouse is 108 feet (33 m) tall, which makes it the second tallest in eastern Canada. It is built in a characteristic shape, employing eight concrete buttresses to support a slender central cylinder.
Site Historique Maritime de la Pointe-au-Pere
A maritime museum located in Rimouski, Quebec, Canada, that displays 200 years of maritime history, and includes the 1st submarine open since 2009 to the public in Canada.

Gaspe is a city at the tip of the Gaspe Peninsula in the Gaspesie-iles-de-la-Madeleine region of eastern Quebec, Canada. It is known for its large snow falls during winter and high gusts of wind year-round.
We will visit Forillon National Park, take boat trip to Bonaventure Island, also known as Birds island and see the Perce Rock during the trip.

Forillon National Park is located on the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec, offering excellent hiking opportunities through lush vegetation along the Quebecois coastline. It is the location of Fort Peninsule, built during World War II.

Perce is a small city near the tip of the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. Within the territory of the city there is a village community also called Perce.
Perce Rock
Perce Rock is one of the most recognizable geological formations in Canada. Once connected to the mainland, years of erosion have yielded its arch shape. It can be visited by boat for only four hours a day, dependent on the tide.
Bonaventure Island
Off the coast of Perce, Quebec, Bonaventure Island is home to some of Canada's diverse wildlife and contains several unique geological features, such as Perce Rock, one of Quebec's most recognizable natural formations, making Bonaventure Island an excellent hiking spot.
Take ferry to Bonaventure Island where 293 different species of birds have been recorded as visiting, migrating to, or living on the island.
After breakfast, we will depart from Campbellton to Rimouski where we will visit the Reford Garden before return to Montreal in the night.
