Day 1: New York - Newport - Salem - Boston(279 miles)

Board the motorcoach, we will settle back and depart north into New England. Around noon, we will arrive in Newport, Rhode Island, a well-known summer resort during the Gilded Age. Drive past the "summer cottages" of the Vanderbilts, the Astors, etc. along senic Ocean Drive. Then we will continue north to Salem. Arrival at the hotel in the suburbs of Boston in the early evening and have a dinner.

Day 2: Boston - Stockbridge - Albany(149 miles)

After the continental breakfast in the morning, we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the historic city of Boston, including Faneuil Hall, Boston Common and Harvard University. In the afternoon, we will head west towards the Berkshires, a rural region in the mountains of western Massachusetts, where a stop is made in the picturesque Stockbridge, a picture-perfect example of small-town New England. Then we will proceed to Albany, the capital city of New York State for an overnight stay.

Upon arrival at the airport in Los Angeles, we will transfer to the hotel either via the complimentary hotel's shuttle (Airport Option) that you need to take by your own, or on a seat-in basis (Downtown Option) to the Millennium Biltmore, which includes the driver greeting after you arrival at airport.

Day 15: Yosemite Area - Carmel - Monterey - San Francisco(280 miles)

Leaving the Yosemite area, we will travel to Carmel located on the Pacific Ocean. From this quaint and charming village, we will travel along stunning 17-Mile Drive to Monterey. Continue northward to San Francisco.

    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.
  • Cancellation penalties per person as follows:(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    Up to 31days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    30-15 days prior to departure - 15% of total purchase amount.
    14-2 days prior to departure - 70% of total purchase amount.
    1 day prior - Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

  • Passengers will fly from Washington, DC to Los Angeles on Friday - airport transfer is included in the tour (airfare is not included).
  • Pre-tour Package: (additional cost when booking)

    2 nights at Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Midtown West including Continental Breakfast prior to tour
    City Sightseeing Tour of New York (live narration in Italian/Spanish/English)
  • Breakfast:(additional cost when booking) Upgrade to daily Continental Breakfast (up to 11 extra meals) with complimentary upgrade to American Breakfast when available.
  • During heavy rainfall, Antelope Canyon may be closed to visitors due to risk of flooding which constitutes Force Majeure.
  • This tour may overnight in Niagara Falls, Canada. Certain nationalities may be required to possess a visa for entry into Canada from the United States. Should clients not have the necessary documentation, they will not be allowed to enter into Canada and will be liable for any additional cost incurred.
  • Some hotels may offer complimentary breakfast to all hotel guests which is reflected in the breakfast surcharge. No refunds can be given for such complimentary meals.
  • Requests to add daily breakfast after departure will be subject to a service fee of $25 per room.
