Itinerary
This morning we depart from the Big Apple heading north where we will pass the beautiful Delaware Water Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Walk through Watkins Glen Canyon to visit the beautiful waterfalls and then continue to Niagara Falls passing Seneca Lake, arriving in the late afternoon.
Tour the US side of Niagara including the American Falls, Goat Island and Luna Island. Experience the power of Niagara aboard the Maid of the Mist. At night, we can appreciate the colorful lighting of the waters.
Finger Lakes, NY
The Finger Lakes are located in the west-central section of Upstate New York in the United States. This popular tourist destination consists of eleven lakes and these are: Canadice Lake, Canandaigua Lake, Cayuga Lake, Conesus Lake, Hemlock Lake, Honeoye Lake, Keuka Lake, Otisco Lake, Owasco Lake, Seneca Lake and Skaneateles Lake. The lakes resemble fingers because they are long and narrow.
Watkins Glen, NY
Watkins Glen is a village in Schuyler County, New York. This is the birthplace of the Watkins Glen International, one of the premier automobile road racing tracks in the United States. Sitting on the south shore of Seneca Lake, it is also famous for its beautiful natural sceneries.

For more than 75 years, visitors to Niagara Falls have been able to enjoy a nighttime illumination of the impressive American and Horseshoe falls. Every night, at dusk, visitors can experience the falls lit in the colors of the rainbow.
We will begin our day by taking in a magnificent view of the Horseshoe Falls before continuing to the lovely little town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Then, we will continue to Toronto, the financial capital of Canada, where we will visit HTO Park, Brookfield Place, City Hall and the Distillery Historic District. We will leave the city and travel to the beautiful Thousand Islands region, arriving in the evening. (in April, based on weather’s conditions we may return to Niagara Falls for overnight).

This unique building complex is one of the most famous in Toronto, and also the home of the city's municipal government.
We will begin the day by taking a cruise through the stunningly beautiful Thousand Islands region that was navigated 500 years ago by the French explorer Jacques Cartier. Weaving in-between the islands, we will see the houses of the rich and famous, like Boldt Castle and Heart Island. Afterwards, we will drive south towards New York, stopping on the way to go shopping at an outlet mall.

Thousand Islands, ON
An international tourism destination situated between Canada and the United States along the St. Lawrence River. The region takes its name from the more than 1,000 islands that dot the lakes and rivers along this international waterway.

Boldt Castle
Built by the original manager of New York City's famous Waldorf-Astoria hotel, Bolt Castle is on Heart Island in the 1000 Islands area of the St. Lawrence River. The massive stone masonry structure is a sight to behold.

Ask a QuestionWhen booking for mid/late October´14, will there be a guarantee that the tour include all the seasonal highlights like: (a) Watkins Glen State Park, (b) Thousand Islands Cruise and (c) the Maid of the Mist Cruise? Just wondering, as the off-season program offers a limited alternative program.
the Maid of the Mist (May to Oct 24) or the Scenic Tunnels (Apr)
1000 Islands cruise (May to October),so you may not have the chance to visit 1000 islands.(a) Watkins Glen State Park shouldbe OK.But sometimes the tour may partly change the itinerary fro smooth operation. So i can not say that for sure now.
what does a fully guided tour mean?
A tour guide will organize the group and arrange for any optional attractions and meal stops. In addition, the guide will conduct an informative tour of sights throughout the trip. The tour may be conducted in more than one language.
