    New York - Washington D.C. / New York - Niagara Falls (since April 1st, 2019) (226 miles)

    Today we will depart from New York to Washington D.C. and the first stop will be the US Capitol (Capitol Close if your tour depart on Sunday, Exterior Only). A Walking In-depth tour inside of the Capitol, accompanied by a professional US CONGRESS Tour Guide. Afterwards we will go to visit White House (outside).Then we will go on a bus sightseeing to visit the Lincoln Memorial along with the Korean War Memorial and Vietnam Memorial (Subject to traffic condition). After that, we can take the D.C Harbor Cruise which rests on top of the Potomac River - the national river of the United States, with the exclusive view of the Pentagon.
    Note: Any attraction will be replaced by Newseum/Wax museum if closed.

    Start from April 1, 2019, the itineary will be adjusted as following:
    We will first depart from New York city straight to Niagara City and enjoy famous Cave of The Winds on Goat Island. At night time, we will end the day by experiencing the stunning Illumination of Niagara Falls before heading back to the hotel.

You will have the opportunity to see a live Hot Glass Show inside the museum and visit exhibitions from a different time period of glass making. Afterward, we will head to Watkins Glen Park.Then we will travel to Niagara City and enjoy a "Legends & Daredevils" IMAX Movie(Mar-Apr)/Witness the Thundering Waters Native American Dance(May-Dec) at Niagara Falls.     Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    • 15-30 days or more prior to departure -10% of total purchase amount.
    • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
