  • Ticket Policy: Bringing your own national park pass or attraction tickets is not permitted. If guests bring such tickets, our company will refuse to provide transportation services for that day, and guests will need to arrange their own transportation.
  • Minors or Pregnant Women: Minors/children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to join this tour. Unaccompanied minors/children are not permitted. For safety reasons, our company does not recommend pregnant women to join small group tours.
  • Luggage: Due to vehicle restrictions, each guest may bring one 26-inch suitcase. Excess luggage responsibility lies with the guest. Free storage is provided in departure cities for oversized bags (locks provided; key fee payable. We're not liable for lost keys).
  • Child Car Seat: For children under 8, you must notify us when booking (provide age) to pre-arrange car seats ($20/use). Unreported cases may cause delays; guests bear all costs (rentals, legal fines, license penalties, etc.).
  • Hotel Deposit: Each group must present a valid credit/debit card at check-in for deposit (amount/method per hotel policy). Refunds take 7-14(U.S.)/14-21(int'l) business days post-checkout (subject to bank processing). We assist with inquiries but don't oversee refunds.
  • Hotel Smoking & Self-Heating Food Policy: Smoking and using self-heating food are strictly prohibited in U.S. hotels. Violators will face fines of $200-$250 and may bear legal consequences.
  • Driver Overtime Policy The driver's workday is 10 hours from the scheduled start time. Overtime is charged at USD 120 per hour (prorated in full-hour increments) under the following conditions: 1) Overtime requested by guests (e.g., added stops) is shared by all passengers; 2) Overtime from individual delay is paid by that person. No gratuity refunds for mid-tour departures.

    Booking and Reservation
    All tours are for early booking, tour operator suggests the each passenger should book tour at least 3 weeks before departure date. Passenger may make reservation via email; however, seats will not be assigned until the deposit has been paid. At time of reservation, passenger may require to provide name, phone number and address and specify designated tour and date of travel.All seats are pre-assigned with numbers; seat assignment is based on a first come first serve basis after down payment.
  • Travel Documents
    Each passenger must carry a valid travel document. (Valid visa for countries needed) (E.g. Green Card, Passport, Re-Entry Permit, and etc.) Tour operator is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    16 days or more prior to departure - - No penalty.
    11-15 days or more prior to departure - 35% of total purchase amount.
    7-10 days prior to departure - 55% of total purchase amount.
    Within 6 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure no show or late - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Broading Time and Location
    All passengers must arrive 15 minutes before departure time. All passengers must show photo ID and boarding pass or tickets for boarding; absolutely no boarding without tickets. Departure time and boarding location will be confirmed after reservation is made.
  • Travel Insurance
    Tour operator is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal items, or personal injury that may occur on or during the tour. It is optional that passengers to buy travel insurance, for more information, please consult your travel agent.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
