Today, we will travel by bus from Paris to Reims, the traditional location of the coronation of the French kings, where we will tour Reims Cathedral. Then, we will visit the province of Champagne, where we will enjoy wine and champagne tastings. This day will be especially interesting to enthusiasts of European history and architecture, as well as those who like rare, sparkling French wines.

    Reims is a city in the Grand Est region of France, lies 129 km (80 mi) east-northeast of Paris, which functions as one of the centres of champagne production.

    Reims Cathedral

    Notre-Dame de Reims is a breathtaking French Gothic cathedral built in the 13th century. It is still a functioning church today, but also a major tourist destination that sees more than one million visitors annually for its amazing facade.
