We'll embark on a panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. Later, we'll transfer to the charming Montmartre district, renowned for its street artists and quaint restaurants, where you can enjoy lunch. Afterward, we'll head back to the hotel, stopping at the Louvre for those who wish to stay in the city center. We suggest visiting the museum. You'll have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, you can attend an optional variety show.

Early departure from Paris. We'll travel towards Normandy, making a stop in Giverny to visit Monet's House and its impressive gardens (admission included); we'll learn about impressionist art, a movement centered in Normandy. The journey will continue to Rouen, Normandy's capital with its medieval streets and cathedral. Here we'll have time for a stroll and lunch. We'll continue to Arromanches, where the beaches serve as a poignant reminder of the World War II landings in France. Our final destination is Caen, where we'll enjoy some leisure time in the central district.

Note: From November to April, Monet's house is closed to visitors, so there will be no stop at Giverny.

Archeological finds have included booties dating from Gallo-Roman times and to the earlier 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The town was known in ancient deeds as "Warnacum". The cultivation of grapes has been an occupation of the inhabitants of Giverny since Merovingian times.

    For more than 40 years, this house was the home of legendary impressionist painter Claude Monet. After his death, his don donated it to the Academie des Beaux-Arts, who restored it and turned it into a museum.

First thing in the morning, we'll travel to Mont-Saint-Michel, known as "The Marvel", where you´ll have time to explore the city, surrounded by the sea and the abbey. Next, in Brittany, we'll stop in Saint-Malo, whose powerful walls defend the city. Time for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll continue to Dinan, a charming Breton village where we will enjoy a crepe and a drink. We'll then make our way to Rennes, the capital of Brittany, with its fascinating and monumental historic center.

We'll depart for Angers. Those who wish can visit the castle that houses the largest medieval tapestry depicting the Apocalypse. Our journey will take us to the Loire Valley, arriving in Tours, the region's capital, located on the banks of the Loire River. Here, you'll have time to explore and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we'll visit Chateau de Villandry, renowned for its magnificent gardens and flowers, with admission to the gardens included. We'll then continue to Amboise for accommodation, a city celebrated for its enchanting medieval quarter. Dinner will be included.

Embark on a day of discovery in the Loire Valley. Our morning will begin with a leisurely stroll in Amboise, home to the Chateau du Clos Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last three years. Delving deeper into the Loire region, we'll explore the iconic Chateu de Chenonceau (tickets included), built like a bridge over the river. Next, we will visit Chambord, the largest castle in the Loire Valley (visit to the park included). We will then head to Paris, arriving in the evening.

    This small chateau's claim to fame was the years it spent as the official residence of Leonardo da Vinci. It is primarily a museum dedicated to the inventions of the famous Renaissance Man, and includes several models of his ideas.

    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings.   • All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within or more than 31 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    10% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    50% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 15 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    75% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 7 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 1 day prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
