Overview

Join our expert guide for a full-day journey through Normandy and relive the key moments that ensured the success of the D-Day landings on June 6, 1944. Your experience begins at Pointe du Hoc, a site of immense strategic importance where fierce battles took place. Next, visit Omaha Beach, one of the most significant landing sites, before paying tribute at the American Cemetery in Colleville, a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made for freedom. The tour then takes you to Arromanches, now a charming seaside town but once a crucial bhold for Allied forces due to its artificial harbor, which played a vital role in supplying troops. Here, you'll have time to explore at your own pace and enjoy a complimentary lunch. If weather conditions allow, the final stop will be Juno Beach, where Canadian forces bravely fought against intense enemy resistance during their landing

Normandy, FRANCE

One of the 18 regions of France, roughly referring to the historical Duchy of Normandy.It covers 30,627 square kilometres,comprising roughly 5% of the territory of metropolitan France.

Omaha Beach

Though this beachfront is not actually called Omaha Beach, that was the codename given to the Allied invasion of the beaches of Normandy on D-Day in World War II.

Pointe du Hoc

A site of immense historical significance, Pointe du Hoc was the location of the German fortifications during the Battle of Normandy in World War II, and is now home to a memorial museum dedicated to those who lost their lives.

Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial

This military cemetery and war memorial near the northern coast of France serves as a tribute to the American soldiers who died in Europe during World War II, particularly those who were killed during the invasion of Normandy on D-Day.

Arromanches-les-Baines

This small township on the northeastern coast of France is significant due to its location at the center of the area in which the Allied invasion of Axis-occupied France took place on D-Day during World War II.

Juno Beach

Juno Beach was the primary D-Day landing site for Canadian forces in 1944. Today, it features a moving memorial centre and museum, offering a mix of historic reflection and serene coastal scenery.

Possibility to buy souvenirs in Arromanches A warm coat is recommended during the winter period, a raincoat during the summer and a good pair of walking / flat shoes are suggested to avoid discomfort.

Confirmation

Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. All tours can be will be confirmed within 1-2 business day.

Redemption

You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Currency Fluctuations: All tour prices are current at the time of publication and are susceptible to currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices
All purchases will be confirmed with one business day after purchase.
All tours require a minimum number of passengers to operate. You will be notified prior to departure time if cancellation is necessary.
Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - no penalty
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
