Itinerary
Arrive in Perth, the sunniest capital city in Australia, with over 8 hours of sunshine a day. Perth is on the west coast, facing the Indian Ocean to the west and desert to the east, with no other cities for thousands of miles - a truly isolated city. After airport pickup, check in to the city-center hotel.
Depart from Perth before 08:00. Head to Lancelin's renowned white sand dunes for sandboarding; sandboards are provided. You may also take an optional self-paid four-wheel-drive off-road motorcycle ride across the dunes. Continue to The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park, where strange stone pillars form a unique landscape. Stop at the famous lobster factory and enjoy its Australian wild lobster lunch. Travel north along the Indian Ocean Drive, with a brief stop at an unusual tree to stretch your legs. Arrive in Geraldton before 18:00.

In the afternoon, drive to the emerald waters of Jurien Bay, passing through the plains, and return to Perth by 19:00.

The Mandurah area is dotted with wooden "giant" sculptures created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, an open-air exhibition that blends nature and art. From Mandurah, drive north for about 1 hour to reach Coogee Beach, where the scenery is beautiful, the crowds are relatively thin, and it is an excellent spot for sunset photography and relaxation.

Coogee Beach, Australia
Coogee Beach, half an hour south of Perth, is named one of Australia's best beaches. With nearly 4km of turquoise-fringed coastline, its northern end features the Coogee Maritime Trail for snorkelling around the 1905 Omeo shipwreck. The southern end hosts the Jervoise Bay Sailing Club with regular races throughout the season.
Depart from the city center in the morning and head to the longest jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Ride the Busselton Jetty Train out to sea, a filming location of Wife's Romantic Trip Season 2 and a must-visit photo spot. After lunch, continue to the famous Margaret River wine region, stop at Margaret River Winery for photos (wine tasting at own expense). See Canal Rocks and the Indian Ocean coastal scenery with waves crashing on the rocks. Then visit Lavender Tea Farm, where lavender ice cream is available at own expense (15-20 minutes). Return to Perth before 19:00.

The island is home to quokkas, which look like they are always smiling when viewed from the front; they are mostly found on Rottnest Island and are almost absent from the Australian mainland. The sea around the island shows layered blue-green colors. You can take a bus tour, or choose to rent a bicycle, swim, or enjoy other activities. Note: you go to the ferry terminal on your own; self-guided tour tips are provided.
