This is a great way to see the best of Rio de Janeiro if time is limited! Guests will be picked up from their hotels to begin this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. We will start the day with a panoramic tour of downtown Rio, passing by the Sambadrome and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We will become familiar with traditional Cinelandia Square, site of historic buildings like the Municipal Theater, the National Library, and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Via Flamengo Park, we will visit the neighborhood of Urca, home to Sugarloaf Mountain, one of the iconic symbols of the city. We will take the cable car to the summit of the mountain for a magnificent view of the city and its surrounding islands. Afterward, guests will be returned to their hotels, bringing this tour to an end.
