You can sit on the stairs in front of Christ to take the famous photo with the statue. Don't miss the opportunity to take photos of the city from there too.

Embark on this half-day Rio de Janeiro City Tour with a tour guide.
Starting with hotel pickup, we take you to visit the Corcovado Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue going through the Paineiras route. The 20-minute drive to the base of the statue takes you through the Tijuca Forest and gives you a preview of the landscapes ahead. The statue stands 710 meters tall and from this point, you have sweeping views of the city.
We keep going and we stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Arcos da Lapa with the traditional Selaron Steps. Then, we stop by the Sambadrome and the Maracana Stadium to take some pictures on the outside.
We take you on a journey through time. If you enjoy history and culture, this is the perfect tour for you. In this half-day tour, we will visit the Cinelandia Square, a place where we can see the Municipal Theater, the National Library, the National Museum of Fine Arts and the Municipality Chamber of Rio. We will also visit the Praca XV, which can be described as the birthplace of our city.
That is the original location of the main harbor where hundreds of people arrived in this country. In the Praca XV we may see the Palacio Tiradentes, the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro, the Paco Imperial and the Arco dos Teles.
