Welcome aboard the original Old Town Trolley Tours of San Diego. Enjoy our twenty-five mile, fully narrated tour of San Diego and Coronado. Colorful anecdotes, humorous stories and historical information are combined into a fast paced two-hour narrative that will both entertain and educate.

Old Town Trolley Tours of San Diego is the "attraction that takes you to all the attractions" and has been entertaining millions of guests since 1989. How the tour Works:
Our fleet of colorful orange-and-green trolleys travel through San Diego and Coronado frequently on a continuous twenty-five mile loop. Start your tour at any one of our convenient stops and tour throughout the entire day. Stay on board your trolley and enjoy our fascinating narrative, presenting a great overview of "America's Finest City", until you return to your starting point in approximately two hours.

Hop On and Off!
Depending on your start time, you may also use your ticket to enjoy your tour in segments by hopping off at one or more of our distinctive stops on the loop. Each stop offers a unique aspect of San Diego for you to explore. When you are ready to continue your tour, simply hop on the next available trolley. Trolleys arrive and depart approximately every 20 minutes. The number of stops you can explore in one day depends on the time of year that you are touring and the amount of time you have on the day of your tour. For your convenience, we offer two-day passes as well as discounted Old Town Trolley and SEAL Tour Combination Packages! Please ask our staff at any of our Trolley stops how to best plan your day.

    The world-famous San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park, CA is home to more than 3,700 animals of more than 650 species, including the rarely-kept-in-captivity Giant Panda, gorillas, polar bears, elephants, and koalas. Many of the zoo's animals have appeared in film.

    Naval Base San Diego

    This active military base in San Diego, California is the largest naval base on the west coast of the United States. Those who wish may participate in tours as long as they are with a group of 10+.

    Balboa Park in San Diego, California is a 1,200-acre complex containing gardens, museums, and the famous San Diego Zoo. The park is almost 150 years old, and sees more than 12 million visitors every year as of 2001.

    Spring/Summer (Mar 10-Nov 2): 9am to 6pm (last tour departs Old Town at 4pm finishing up approximately 6pm).
    Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Times vary depending on season.
    NOTE: Departure times vary by trolley stop location. For actual departure times, call the Customer Service number provided on your eTicket. Holidays, special events and traffic conditions may cause cancellations, delays or detours.

Additional Note

  • Without an e-Ticket voucher or mobile ticket you must go to the ticket booth location with invoice order number.
  • Assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys.
  • Free parking is available at Stop A) Old Town State Park.

Confirmation

  • Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

Redemption

  • For every confirmed booking you will be required to print a voucher which is presented at the destination.
  • Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email.

Terms & Condition

  • 24 hour notice is required to change or cancel tour.
  • All sales are final and attract 100% cancellation penalties.
  • Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
  • We reserve right to cancel a schedule to fully refund affected customers although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
