Guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in San Francisco. Today, we will follow Highway 1 south along the Pacific coastline until we reach Monterey, where we will visit Cannery Row, Carmel, and more. We will also take a scenic ride along the 17-Mile Drive. Later, we will return to San Francisco via the famous Silicon Valley. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
Monterey, CA
Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.
17-Mile Drive
This breathtaking stretch of coastline along California's Monterey Peninsula takes visitors through a maze of beautiful scenery, unique wildlife, and amazing mansions. Enjoy shopping and dining along the way in addition to taking in the vistas.
Cannery Row
This street made famous by the John Steinbeck novel of the same name was once the center of Monterey's fishing industry. Today, it is a tourist attraction and conservation area home to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and many seal lions.
Carmel, CA
Officially called Carmel-by-the-Sea, this coastal Southern California town is known for its amazing scenery as well as its art scene past and present. Former mayors include Clint Eastwood, Perry Newberry, and Herbert Heron, among other artistic icons.

- Guests staying at hotels around Fisherman抯 Wharf can go to the Fisherman's Wharf Tour Center on 2800 Leavenworth Street no later than 45 minutes before the departure time to catch shuttle to 478 Post Street.
- Guests staying at hotels around SFO and outside the walking range will receive a pick up time and will be taken to the 478 Post St. location. You can check on the hotel pickup list for reference.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance before departure.
- All hotel pick-up services are upon reconfirmation from the reservation team.

- Suggested Attire: for day tours, casual, comfortable clothes and walking shoes are advised.
- Wheelchair accessible. However, passengers in a wheelchair can be accommodated only if they can get on and off the bus on their own and if the wheelchair is foldable. The driver is not permitted to assist handicapped persons due to insurance restrictions
- Buses are air conditioned and the size of the bus depends on the number of passengers booked for that particular day. There are 48, 28, 39, 47 and 50 seat vehicles.

Confirmation will be received within 24 - 48 hours of purchase, subject to availability.
You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.
All purchases will be confirmed with one business day after purchase.
All Tours require a minimum number of passengers to operate. You will be notified prior to departure time if cancellation is necessary.
We reserves the right to cancel or change any tours, schedules or rates and to cancel or substitute routes and stops on any tour without prior notice and to substitute restaurants, attractions, landmarks and or sites as directed by officials.
Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - no penalty
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
