After the coffee tour, we will continue to Poas Volcano National Park, where there is a noticeable change in temperature and exuberant vegetation of the cloud forest.

The Poas Volcano, is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April, 2017.

At the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, and hike on a trail to the beautiful Botos Lagoon as we learn about the different ecosystems in the park.

After Poas, we will continue to La Paz Waterfall Garden, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch (rated 4 Forks by the Costa Rican Tourism Council) that includes multiple selections of Traditional Costa Rican dishes and much more.

At La Paz Waterfall Gardens we will go through walking trails surrounded by lush tropical rain forest. Here we will appreciate flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, and hummingbirds. There are also, educational animal exhibits to enjoy such as the Aviary, the Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Jungle Cats Exhibit, and the Frog Exhibit. This tour takes you to the auspicious site of the majestic Arenal Volcano where you will enjoy Baldi's relaxing hot springs, as well as appreciate the lush vegetation and landscapes that make this place an unforgettable place.

The impressive Arenal Volcano is a natural wonder that is located in La Fortuna de San Carlos, Alajuela, offering thousands of tourists the opportunity to appreciate the columns of white smoke, ash and smoking activity that emanate from the conical colossus. It is important to keep in mind that the volcano had remained asleep for at least 450 years, until on July 29, 1968, it again experienced a great eruption, beginning a new period of pyroclastic activity which has been decreasing in the last years.

On the way to the Arenal Volcano, we will make a stop in the famous town of Sarchi, known as the cradle of Costa Rican artisans, where they will have the best opportunity to acquire souvenirs such as wood, clothing and souvenirs in general. In Sarchi, it is very possible that you will see an ox cart that holds the title of being the largest in the world, which is built of wood (cedar) and decorated with surprising colours, such as a bright orange colour. The design is typical and complex, it has two levels of height and took 70 days to complete, it also has an honourable mention in the world book of Guinness Records.

The trip continues crossing forest areas, as well as plantations of various agricultural products, including coffee plantations, pineapple, ornamental plants, cattle farms, until reaching the beautiful town of La Fortuna, to stop and enjoy lunch in a Cozy restaurant with a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano. After lunch, you visit a viewpoint that is closest to the base of the volcano where you can see the view of Lake Arenal.

Eventually, the tourist will enjoy and relax in one of the best hot springs in the area, where you can enjoy the rejuvenating effects of them, as well as a massage (optional activity) or other special treatments that must be booked in advance. Baldi facilities offer the tourist, 25 thermal water pools, which flow naturally from the volcano. The medicinal waters are certified by L.N.A (National Water Laboratory), and the temperature ranges from 33 to 66 degrees Celsius (93-152 Fahrenheit) providing customers with a wide range of options that suit the person's tastes.

We will stop to enjoy lunch at a cozy restaurant. Then you will go on to relax at one of the best hot springs in the area where you will enjoy the rejuvenating effects. EcoTermales Hot Springs is the hot spring property where the water naturally springs up right on site 6 elegant pools with temperatures ranging from 99deg to 106deg F (37deg to 41deg C) in addition to one fresh water waterfall and pool.
