Travel in Sault Ste. Marie

The maple syrup farm lunch was part of the itinerary, and the sweet maple flavor was something different that I hadn't really tried before. The guide spoke both Chinese and English, so getting around was no problem.

The fall colors were beautiful, and the Agawa Canyon train was the highlight for me. The ticket was an extra cost, but seeing Black Beaver Falls and Bridal Veil Falls made it worthwhile.

After climbing the Dorset lookout tower, I could see a huge stretch of maple forest, really deep red, and I stood up there for a while. It was windy on the tower though, and I got a bit cold after a while.

This tour covered both Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain in one day, with the Skyride included. Lunch was on my own, but I liked having that flexibility.

This route links the main cities of several eastern provinces, and ten days covered quite a lot. The drives were long, but stops like the Hartland Covered Bridge and the world's largest lobster statue kept things from getting dull.

I really liked that six tickets were included — the Confederation Bridge, the red sandstone beaches, Green Gables, the Fundy tides, Magnetic Hill, and Peggy's Cove Lighthouse all came with it, so I didn't have to sort each one out myself.

The ticket worked for two days in a row, with buses every half hour from 10am to 4pm. I found it really convenient for covering Old Montreal and the basilica. Round-trip transport and taxes were already included, which saved me the hassle.

Someone was waiting for me at Toronto airport and drove me straight to the hotel, which took a lot of stress off. The four nights of accommodation and taxes were all included, so I didn't have to worry about booking anything myself.

In Old Montreal we had some free time, so I wandered around Chinatown on my own and walked over to see Notre-Dame Basilica from the outside. Being without the guide actually felt more relaxed, since I could stop whenever I wanted.

We had a wonderful 3-day Eastern Canada tour covering Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Thousand Islands. Our tour guide Jeff Yan was excellent—energetic, knowledgeable, helpful and funny, while keeping our large group well organized and on time. The driver was calm, professional and drove safely throughout the trip. The coach was comfortable, and the VIP front seats were worthwhile. Moca Valley Field was excellent, while the Ambassador Hotel was satisfactory but could improve on cleanliness. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable family trip. Definitely recommended!
