You will visit Zhu Jia Jiao, a 1700-year-old water village located 16 miles west of Shanghai. Highlights include the Qing Dynasty Post Office, the Fangsheng Bridge (the longest, largest, and tallest stone bridge), Kezhi Garden (a manor-style garden with Chinese and Western elements), and small canals leading to Dian Shan Lake. You can also explore numerous shops to practice bargaining. After two hours of sightseeing, you'll stop at a silk mill to see the silk production process before returning to your hotel.

Fangsheng Bridge
Fangsheng Bridge, built in the Ming Dynasty, is Zhu Jia Jiaoâs largest stone bridge, spanning 70 meters with five arches. Its name means "releasing life," tied to Buddhist fish-release ceremonies. A scenic spot, it offers beautiful views of the water townâs canals and historic charm.
Kezhi Garden
Kezhi Garden, a late Qing Dynasty garden, combines Chinese and Western styles. It features traditional pavilions, rockeries, and ponds alongside Western architectural elements, creating a unique, serene retreat in the historic water town.
Qing Dynasty Post Office
The Qing Dynasty Post Office dating back to the Qing Dynasty, is one of Chinaâs oldest post offices. It features traditional architecture and exhibits of old letters, stamps, and postal tools, showcasing ancient Chinese communication history.
