The Australian War Memorial

Royal Australian Mint

The official coin mint for the country of Australia, located in the capital, Canberra, is responsible for all the new Australian coins that enter circulation. It also prepared the medals for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Lake Burley Griffin

This man-made lake in the central area of Canberra opened in 1963. It was designed with specific geometric motifs, which eventually earned the park and its designer several awards and other forms of recognition.
