Itinerary

Overview

Today we'll visit Elora & Fergus, two picturesque towns divided by the Grand River, are like sparkling jewels. Elora, named one of the world's top 10 wedding destinations by Lonely Planet, enchants with its artistic charm, English-style cafes, and the breathtaking Elora Gorge Falls. Nearby, the Wellington County Museum preserves local history. Fergus, founded by Scottish settlers, charms with stone bridges, floral tartan decor, and a European vibe.

Elora, ON

A scenic riverside village famed for its dramatic limestone gorge, artisan boutiques, and the iconic Elora Quarry. Perfect for hiking, tubing, and cultural escapes.

Elora Gorge Conservation Area

A spectacular natural playground featuring the iconic gorge, waterfalls, and winding Grand River. Hike scenic trails, brave the thrilling tubing route, or picnic atop 22-meter limestone cliffs. Winter transforms it into a snow-dusted wonderland.
Fergus, ON

A quaint riverside town where Scottish heritage comes alive through its iconic stone architecture, annual Highland Games, and the winding Grand River.

Wellington County Museum & Archives

Housed in a striking 1877 heritage building, this museum showcases Wellington County's rural history through interactive exhibits and a preserved Poor House. The surrounding gardens and cemetery add poignant depth to visits.

Price Includes

All domestic ground transportation via air-conditioned motor coach; or via 7-Seat/15-Seat minibus, subject to guest numbers
Tour guide (English/ Chinese) for the entire tour
All taxes and fees included

Price Excludes

Mandatory Service fees CAD$16/person/day for your tour guide and bus driver.
Meals and drinks They are not included, but your tour guide will assist in arranging dining options.
Personal Expense Any additional personal expenses incurred during the tour.

Policies

Confirmation

Upon submitting your reservation, you will immediately receive a booking receipt via email. Within 2 to 3 business days, you will receive a confirmation email with the booking status.
Please wait for this confirmation before booking any airline tickets.

Redemption

You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is confirmed, which will include operator information, including local phone numbers at your destination. Please ensure you have the e-tickets with you as proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please wait for confirmation before booking your airline tickets.
Cancellation and Refund policy: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
- Cancellations received 20 or more days prior to departure - No penalty.
- Cancellations received 14 or more days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
- Cancellations received within 14 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
- Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
*The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Tour Operation Policy:
- Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
- We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and fully refund affected customers, though we will make every effort to maintain regular operations.
- We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
- Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
