Itinerary
In the morning we will depart from Toronto towards the Thousand Island scenic area. Upon arrival, we can enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the St. Lawrence River. On the boat we will have a chance to view the world famous Heart Island, Boldt Castle and Zavikon Island Bridge. Afterwards we will visit the Old Quebec City, where we can take photos of many historic European style buildings such as Fortifications of Quebec, Chateau Frontenac, and Quebec's Parliament Building. At night we can enjoy the optional French-style cuisine before returning to the hotel.
Thousand Islands, ON
An international tourism destination situated between Canada and the United States along the St. Lawrence River. The region takes its name from the more than 1,000 islands that dot the lakes and rivers along this international waterway.
Thousand Islands Cruise
The 1,864 scattered across the United States-Canada border in the St. Lawrence River were once an ideal location for bootleggers to sneak alcohol into the prohibition-era US from Canada. Today it is an area of beauty and history.
Boldt Castle
Built by the original manager of New York City's famous Waldorf-Astoria hotel, Bolt Castle is on Heart Island in the 1000 Islands area of the St. Lawrence River. The massive stone masonry structure is a sight to behold.
Zavikon Island
Technically two islands, Zavikon claims to have the world's smallest international bridge. However, this is actually untrue, as both are in Canada. There is a lovely house on the island.

Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. It was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, and some of the architecture in Old Quebec dates back centuries. The Chateau Frontenac is the most famous landmark.
Chateau Frontenac
The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is a famous grand hotel and a National Historic Site of Canada. The hotel, which is essentially a castle, sits on a hilltop in the city, and is perhaps the most-photographed hotel in the world.
Parliament Building
This impressive and breathtaking Second-Empire-style building is home to all of the governmental functions of Quebec. Construction on the imposing building took ten years beginning in 1877. The buildings is surrounded by statues of famous Quebecois.
After breakfast we will head to the world-famous Canyon Sainte-Anne, admiring the most beautiful maple scenery. After lunch, we will board on the Observation Tower in Quebec City and enjoy 360-degree views of the city's landscape from an altitude of 221 meters. Afterwards we continue our journey to Canada's second largest city - Montreal. We will have a chance to visit the Notre-Dame Basilica (outside). After dinner we will return to hotel.

Observatoire de la Capitale
On the top floor is the 360-degree observatory, the Observatoire de la Capitale. This floor is open to tourists who want a unique view of the historical city from its highest point. The Observatoire stands 725 feet from the ground.
Canyon Sainte-Anne Park, QC
Canyon Sainte-Anne Park is located 25 to 30 minutes east of Quebec City, at the edge of the Beaupre Coast and Charlevoix regions. It lies on the border between the municipalities of Saint-Ferreol-les-Neiges and Saint-Joachim.

Quebec's Canyon Sainte-Anne is a breathtaking gorge with high suspension bridges that enable safe passage from one side to the other as you look down at the roaring waters below. The highest bridge is 243 feet above the water.

Notre-Dame Basilica
The Notre-Dame Basilica-Cathedral in Montreal, Quebec is the oldest parish church in North America, founded in 1647. It is also the first to be elevated to the rank of basilica. Visitors also come for its impressive neoclassical architecture.
In the early morning, we will head to Ottawa, the Canadian capital, for a bus sightseeing tour that will include visits to Parliament Hill (outside visit), the Peace Tower, Rideau Canal, the Canadian War Museum, and the Canadian Museum of History. In the evening, we will return to Toronto, where the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Located on the Ottawa River in eastern Ontario, Canada's capital city is also its center of technology and politics. This historic city features many museums, art galleries, and performance centers as well as other attractions like the Rideau Canal.
Parliament Hill
Parliament Hill, located on the banks of the Ottawa River Canada's capital city, is home to the Canadian Parliament. The gorgeous location and dramatic architecture make this a huge tourist location-- more than 3 million people come every year.
Canadian War Museum
In 1880, the Canadian government founded the Canadian War Museum as a place to house a collection of military artifacts and memorabilia it had in its possession. The items in the collection span hundreds of years through present-day conflicts.

Gatineau is a city in western Quebec, Canada. It is the fourth-largest city in the province after Montreal, Quebec City, and Laval. It is located on the northern bank of the Ottawa River, immediately across from Ottawa, together with which it forms Canada's National Capital Region.
Canadian Museum of History
First established in 1856 as a geological center, the museum that would become the Canadian Museum of History quickly began accumulating ethnological and biological artifacts. By 1968, its continual growth forced it to move to its current location.
