Itinerary
In the morning, we will travel from Toronto to Ottawa where we will enjoy the festive Winterlude. At the end of the day we will head to Montreal.
Ottawa, ON
Located on the Ottawa River in eastern Ontario, Canada's capital city is also its center of technology and politics. This historic city features many museums, art galleries, and performance centers as well as other attractions like the Rideau Canal.
Winterlude
An annual festival, which started in 1979, in Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec that celebrates winter. The focal point of Winterlude is the Rideau Canal Skateway which at 7.8 kilometres is the largest skating rink in the world.
We will begin the morning and will get the chance to see the Quebec Winter Carnival and the Hotel de Glace, the only ice hotel in North America. After that, we will go to Quebec City, where we will see the Old City, including the Fortifications of Quebec, Chateau Frontenac, and Parliament Hill.
Quebec City, QC
Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. It was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, and some of the architecture in Old Quebec dates back centuries. The Chateau Frontenac is the most famous landmark.
Ice Hotel
The Hotel de Glace just outside Quebec City is the only Ice Hotel in North America. This amazing architectural achievement is reconstructed every winter entirely out snow and ice. There is even an ice chapel in which weddings are hosted.
Quebec Winter Carnival
Each year at the beginning of February, this festival celebrates French Canadian culture. There are a wealth of fun activities to enjoy, like parades, sleigh and canoe races, a snow sculpture contest, and a masquerade ball.
Historic District of Old Quebec
This UNESCO World Heritage Site traces its history to 1620 and the establishment of the Saint-Louis Fort. Old Quebec is known for its architecture and its value as a testament to the impact of colonization.
Due to road construction, buses are prohibited from entering Saint-Louis Street unless authorized. Unauthorized buses will be fined under By-law R.V.Q. 3530. Please note the following adjustments:
Permit – We will try to obtain an entry permit, but confirmation can only be made on the arrival day.
Without permit – The bus will park at an alternate location, and the guide will lead the group to the core scenic area on foot. This adds approx. 10 minutes of walking time (depending on group pace).
Sightseeing time – The time spent in Old Quebec will be reduced accordingly.

Parliament Building
This impressive and breathtaking Second-Empire-style building is home to all of the governmental functions of Quebec. Construction on the imposing building took ten years beginning in 1877. The buildings is surrounded by statues of famous Quebecois.
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Montreal Biodome. Afterwards, return to Toronto.

Montreal Biodome
Originally a building for track and field events when Montreal hosted the Olympics, today the Biodome serves as an educational facility. Its biological recreation exhibits represent the four dominant biomes in the Western Hemisphere.

- Ticket Policy: City Pass or self-purchased tickets cannot be used on group tours. Otherwise, a CAD 60-100 per person surcharge applies.
- Itinerary Changes: We reserve the right to modify or cancel the itinerary for a smooth tour. If an activity is canceled due to unavoidable circumstances or force majeure, any paid activity fees will be refunded.
- Travel Insurance: We recommend that group members purchase travel and cancellation insurance before departure to protect against losses from illness or accidents.
