Day 1: Toronto

Today we will gather in Toronto. Free transfer from the airport to hotels is available every hour between 10:00am and 10:00pm.

Day 2: Toronto - Kingston - Ottawa - Montreal (619 km)

Departing from Toronto early in the morning, we will make our way to Kingston, where we will see the City Hall, Royal Military College, Queen's University and much more. Then, we will proceed to Ottawa, where we will visit Parliament Hill and Canadian Museum of History, Canadian War Museum and also pass by Canadian Royal Mint and many other buildings. Afterwards, we will make our way to Montreal, where we will eat dinner, check into our hotel, and have the remainder of the night to spend at our own leisure.

Day 3: Montreal - Quebec City (262 km)

Today we will tour Montreal, QC, visiting St. Joseph's Oratory and Notre-Dame Basilica (outside), before heading to the Olympic Tower and seeing the Montreal Biodome. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Ice hotel (from Jan 4th to Mar 25). If the Ice Hotel is closed, we will visit BOREALIS Museum instead(on your own expense). We will head to historic Quebec City for the night, where we will get to spend time in the Historic District.

    Itineary will substitute the Montreal Biodome with Olympic Statium when it's closed due to maintanance.

    Historic District of Old Quebec

    This UNESCO World Heritage Site traces its history to 1620 and the establishment of the Saint-Louis Fort. Old Quebec is known for its architecture and its value as a testament to the impact of colonization.

In the morning, we will leave Quebec City. During the winter, we can take an optional dog sled ride (start from mid December) before heading to the Thousand Islands region, where we will take a helicopter tour of the area before returning to Toronto.
If Dog Sledding closed, we will change our itinerary to Montreal Sky Wheel (Fee apply) instead

We will also visit and taste the famous Canadian ice wine. At the end of the day, we will return to the Toronto airport for dropoff. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.

    • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
  • Due to the severe weather in Canada, even the pre-paid attraction will be cancelled, we'll refund the full charge once it happend.
  • Each customer must choose at least 4 attractions (St. Josephs Oratory & Notre-Dame Basilica are not counted since these two attraction fees are only donation fees not admission, Niagara falls and Toronto City tour are also not included) during tour, otherwise CAD$50/person will be applied.
  • Air fares and transportation between your city and Toronto
  • Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
  • All meals and drinks during the trip, but the tour guide will arrange for.
  • Mandatory service fees are required. Minimum: $16.00 US dollar or CAD per person per day to the Driver and Guide on the US side or Canada side. Min CAD $8.00 per person for airport transfer.

Additional Note

  • The Ice Hotel visiting and Dog Sled Ride might be canceled due to the weather condition.
  • Booking: If you are making a booking within 14 days of departure, please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, tour booking will be confirmed within 2-3 business days.
  • Seating Arrangement: To be fair, the tour guide is responsible for the daily tourist car seating arrangements, the guest should be arranged according to the table. (First 4 rows in the tour bus are VIP seats. You can book first 4 row seats for CAD $48/ person/ 3 days)
  • On Site Change: If you need change, please inform 72 hours prior to departure. As a result of changes and delays, we will not be responsible and will not accept any change within 72 hours (during the long weekend to 5 days in advance).
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese).
  • No smoking in all hotels

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email.

Redemption

  • Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    7 or more days prior to departure - $300/person
    4-6 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount
    Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

Hello, I am planning to take the tour on March 7th 2014. It is written that the 1000 islands region will be seen only seasonaly. Does that mean that I wont get to see this region? I would love to saty in Quebec city longuer than one evening, is it possible to extend one day visit of Quebec City?

The opening hours for Thousand Islands is from Apr 27 - Nov 14, so you are not able to visit it on March, it's impossible toextend one day in Quebec City since it's in the middle of the tour.
