  • ALTITUDE: This trip occurs at high altitudes, around 5,000 meters above sea level. Acclimatize above 3,000 meters before the trip. Bring headache meds and altitude sickness tablets. Stay hydrated!
  • ACCOMMODATION / FACILITIES: In remote areas, facilities are basic, and vehicle breakdowns can occur. Accommodations are simple, electricity and water are limited. Bring snacks, water, warm clothes. Be patient for an adventurous experience. For a private room, pay 250 BS/36 USD per person. Subject to availability; pre-order recommended. Salt Hotel may not be available Feb-Apr due to monsoon; alternative provided.
  • SUGGESTED PACKING LIST: Sun hat, sunglasses, sunblock, warm clothes, swimsuit, water bottles, snacks, meds, flashlight, camera, charger, first aid kit. Prepare for cold nights.
  • DRIVER AND GUIDE: One guide per group; guide with entire group during exploration. In split groups, guide may not be in your vehicle.
  • NOTE: Bring only necessary items during the tour. Option to connect to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. Must book transfer in advance. Itinerary subject to change due to weather, strikes, etc. We aim to follow it closely.
  • IMPORTANT: During rainy season (Nov-Apr), Incahuasi Island may be inaccessible due to rain. Winter season (May-Aug) may limit access to Eduardo Avaroa National Park. Itinerary changes based on weather. Different sleeping locations may be used.
  • Please be aware that weather conditions in Uyuni can change quickly and without warning, especially at higher altitudes. Even during warmer seasons, temperatures can drop significantly at night. For your comfort and safety, we bly recommend bringing a warm sleeping bag or renting one locally. This extra layer can make a big difference in ensuring a restful and enjoyable experience.
