I had a wonderful experience with Victoria day tour! We were picked up at the specified meeting point. The tour guide Chris did a great job of giving information in both English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin). We had a wonderful ride on the BC ferry with spectacular views. We spent one and half hours at Butchart Gardens which was a beautiful wonderland! We then headed for lunch for an hour (drove past Victoria Chinatown) and then went to Victoria city center. I am vegetarian and did not include the meal but most people did as it was economical. There were many other food options where we stopped. I would have preferred to go straight to Victoria and had more time there to get lunch too. We spent an hour at the city center. We had a great time, despite it being very hot outside. The AC on the bus was not working at times, but Chris did his best to fix the problem. We stopped at Mile 0 and took pictures before heading back to the ferry terminal. I am so glad that I went with this tour. It is not something I could have done on my own as a visitor. Chris was a very responsible and a personable tour guide. My daughter got a bee sting and he helped me with ice. I would highly recommend this tour. Please know that it is a very long day closer 14 hours with traffic. Wear your running shoes and bring water! Also, the staff at Take Tours (Emily C) was great at answering my many questions before the tour. Thank you!
It was a blast! I was afraid because I knew I would be around of a Chinese group and It could be weird but it was amazing.
I met some girls and they were really nice to me. Also the tour guide, Tony, is wonderful.
I loved it.
My nephew and I had a great time. The tour guide and driver Amanda was very organized and gave good information about the sites and tour schedule. The tour is geared towards Chinese travelers who speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Amanda spoke excellent English and she made sure we understood everything.
