Day 1: Vancouver - Kelowna - Okanagan - Salmon Arm/Vernon (543 km)

We will begin our journey by driving along the Trans-Canada Highway, heading east to Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. In the area, we will visit a renowned winery to learn the basics of the wine-making process and sample some of the flavors they produce. We will also see Lake Okanagan. We will spend the night in either Salmon Arm or Vernon.

Day 2: Salmon Arm/Revelstoke - Banff National Park - Banff (293 km)

We will proceed to the Eagle Pass, visit the "Last Spike", travel through the Rogers Pass. After a thrilling gondola ride, we will discover the town of Banff and Bow Falls, immerse your body in the Banff Sulphur Mountain hotsprings.

    The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.

    Banff Gondola

    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

    Banff Gondola will be closed for maintenance from Jan 5 -17, 2020.

Today, we will journey to Lake Louise. If weather permits, we can go snowshoeing on the ice surface of the lake. Then, we will enjoy a delicious meal at Chateau Lake Louise and a walk along the lakeshore. In the evening, we will relax in Vernon or Salmon Arm.

Day 4: Salmon Arm - Kamloops - Vancouver (428 km)

We will arrive at Kamloops and visit the Ginseng factory. After passing by Hope and Hunter's Creek, we will arrive in Vancouver in the late Afternoon.Tour will end at Vancouver airport. Please see "Departure and Return Details" for more information.

    • During Christmas Time (Dec 21-31), group lunch at Chateau Lake Louise is not available, substitute restaurant will be arranged.
  • Booking: Please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, tour booking will be confirmed within 1-2 business days.
  • Luggage: Limited to one medium suitcase & one carry-on luggage per person.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (Chinese/Cantonese/ English). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • Optional Meal Plan : Chinese style.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking, please do not book the airline tickets until your received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within one business day after purchase, customers will be fully refunded if the orders cannot be confirmed.
    Cancellations received up to 31 days prior to departure - 15% of total purchase amount.
    Cancellations received within 14-30 days of departure will incur a penalty of 25% per person.
    Cancellations received within 14 days of departure or no show will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. The refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Rockies hotel upgrade is non-refundable once booking confirmed.
  • Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
  • We reserve right to cancel a schedule to fully refund affected customers although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
  • We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.

  • Tour of the Rockies was beautiful. The Chateau at Lake Louise was lovely place to stay in, like a fairy tale, very grand with nice nooks to relax in (you just have to explore to find them). An experience to walk on the lake.

  • The driver and guide were very nice when carrying us to each attraction. The bus condition was good. I liked the meal offered by the hotels. It was delicious. Though the weather was so cold, we still enjoyed the trip since the views were beautiful and worth to spend time on. Overall, I thought this trip was nice and I would recommend this to my friends.
