Sit back while our expert tour guides help you discover the beauty and majesty of Washington D.C. The popular Old Town Trolley tour covers Washington's major attractions such as the Lincoln Memorial, Georgetown, Washington National Cathedral, the White House, the museums of the Smithsonian Institution, and Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. Our licensed and professional tour guides share colorful anecdotes, humorous stories and well researched historical information.

Hop on - Hop off. Tour at your own pace for the entire day! As you tour the nations capital you will have the opportunity to get off the trolley and visit memorials, museums, and historical points of interest; as well as opportunities for shopping and dining throughout the city. When you're ready, just re-board and it's on with the tour. Trolleys will come by each stop every 30 minutes. Your Boarding Pass is your ticket to rejoin the tour at any designated stop.

Washington, DC

The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

Lincoln Memorial

This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

White House

The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

Smithsonian Institution

Centered on the National Mall, the Smithsonian Institution is a series of museums dedicated to research and spreading knowledge. Some of the most notable Smithsonian museums are the National Air and Space Museum and the Museum of American History.

Arlington National Cemetery

This military cemetery spans more than 600 acres in northern Virginia on the border with Washington, DC. It contains the graves of Presidents Taft and Kennedy as well as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Operating Times: Old Town Trolley operates Daily every 30 minutes from 9:00 am with last re-boarding at 4:00 pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Routes are subject to change during marathons and special events. For updated schedule please call 202-832-9800.

Old Town Trolley 1-Day Tour - DC was fantastic. Worth every penny. Love the driver and guides. Fun, educational and informative.
