With more than 750 miles of shoreline, you can enjoy a day at the beach, take a boat out and disappear for hours or nestle into a cove to try to catch a big one. Take a short break into the nature and leisurely walk in the largest artificial lake in the United States, enjoy the beauty of the Black Canyon while feeding fish and ducks, a model of parent-child activity. The tour will departure at 11:00am on time, please arrive at the meeting point 20 minutes in advance before tour depart for safety explanation and necessary preparation.

Lake Mead

Lake Mead is the reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam. When at full capacity, it is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is a popular recreation spot for fishermen, boaters, hikers, sightseers, and much more.

1. What should I bring/wear?

Shorts, T-shirt, hat, water shoes (Teva style sandals or sneakers are best), sunglasses, a small dry bag for personal items (Ziplock bags work well for this) and sunscreen (Lots of sun!) are definitely recommended. Wear a bathing suit under layers of clothing. During our warmer months, you will have the opportunity to swim! A light jacket keeps you warm in winter will also be a good idea. And also, don’t forget the camera! We do provide unlimited of cold bottled water, and lots of snacks for the entire tour. You are all set to go!

2. Will I enjoy it as a beginner, or if I cannot swim?

We invite all skill levels to enjoy the beautiful Lake Mead! It is mandatory for guests to wear life jackets, and our guides will patiently help you enjoy your tour to the fullest. You will be the confident kayaker with your tour guide. They are professionals, and we introduce newcomers to the sport every day. All trips will receive safety rules, as well as basic paddling instructions. What unique experience to spend time with your loved ones!

3. What is the maximum group size during tour?

This activity will have a maximum of 10 guests.

4. How long will we spend on the water during the Kayak Tour?

We are on the water for around 3 hours, with plenty of time to swim, eat, hang out and just enjoy the day!

5. Is there a weight limit to participate in the Kayak Tour?

We recommend anyone under 250 lbs. Contact us at the phone number on your ticket after confirming your reservation to best accommodate you.

6. Do I pay per person or per boat?

Our prices are per person. If you are bringing younger children, we may require them to be in a tandem kayak with a parent, but all prices for all tours are per person.

Additional Notes

  • No luggage of any size on the tour for safety reasons. Small backpacks and dry bags are permitted.
  • Face masks required for our customers during transportation.
  • It is highly suggested our customers bring Sunscreen, a small dry bag for personal items (Ziplock bags work well for this) sunglasses, and hat.
  • Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and walking shoes.
  • Please bring motion sickness medication if necessary.
  • Your cell phone may not have signal in some areas.
  • We strongly recommend that anyone with a heart or spinal condition seriously consider taking this trip.
