Zurich, Switzerland

Sitting on the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich, this city is the largest in Switzerland. The Bahnhofstrasse ("Station Street") is an important landmark as one of the world's most expensive shopping areas.
Bahnhofstrasse

Bahnhofstrasse

Bahnhofstrasse, meaning "Station Street" in English, is the main downtown street in Zurich. It is home to some of the city's best shops, like Bvlgari, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and many more.
Zurich Lake

Zurich Lake

This Swiss lake lies to the southeast of the city of the same name. It is fed by the Linth River. It is a narrow lake, only reaching a maximum width of 2 miles, but reaches 25 miles long.

Swiss Federal Institute of Technology

Established in 1855, it has been ranked 6th in the world (2nd in Europe after the University of Oxford) in the 2020 edition of the QS World University Rankings and is also ranked 13th in the world by the Times Higher Education World Rankings 2018 (4th in Europe after Oxbridge and Imperial College London).
Grossmunster

Grossmunster

Fraumunster

This church in Zurich was built on the site of a former abbey for aristocratic women, which was founded in 853. The choir contains five windows designed by Marc Chagall in 1970.

Felsenegg viewpoint

Felsenegg is a popular viewpoint located in the Albis mountain range. Accessible by a short ride on the Uetlibergbahn (cable car) from Adliswil, it offers stunning panoramic views of Lake Zurich, the Swiss Alps, and the surrounding countryside.
The technical maintenance of the Felsenegg cable car is extended until 30 April 2020 due to unforeseen repairs on the cable car cabin. The tour will still take place but during that period, we will replace the Felsenegg cable car by the Dolderbahn cogwheel train. The Dolderbahn cogwheel train takes customers to a viewpoint at the noble Zürichberg quarter offering superb views of the city, the surroundings and the snow-capped Alps.
