Today we head to Granada, a city with an unmistakably Moorish flavour, located in eastern Andalusia. You will visit the [Alhambra], a beautiful complex of buildings and gardens. The palace grounds comprise beautiful rectangular courtyards and numerous fountains, as well as the Nasrid buildings that served as living quarters for the monarchs and their servants. Next, we'll visit [Torre de Belém] a cornerstone of Portuguese identity and an icon of a country historically shaped by its proximity to the ocean and its maritime discoveries of new worlds. Come and make your own discoveries at the [Padrão dos Descobrimentos], a monumental sculpture commemorating the golden age of Portuguese history.     25th of April Bridge

    This suspension bridge in Portugal connects the capital of Lisbon to the municipality of Almada on the other side of the Tagus River. It first opened in 1966.

Day 5: Lisbon - Toledo (587 km)

  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour..
