Day 1: Barcelona

Upon arriving at the airport we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. You can enjoy free time until your tour starts. Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area which have all the information about your upcoming services such as meeting place, time and the guide’s name.

Day 2: Barcelona-Girona (87 km)

In the morning we enjoy a city tour, its Ramblas, the works of Gaudi, and memories of the Olympic Games. Time at leisure. At the end of the afternoon we will go to the north of Catalonia. A stroll in Girona and its very beautiful historical centre. Its colourful houses stand out, as well as the old Jewish quarter and Cathedral.

Day 3: Girona-Arles-Chambery (472 km)

We leave for France, crossing Provence. We stop in Arles, a small world heritage city where we will remember Van Gogh, and can see its Roman theatre and small Romanesque churches. Time for a stroll and lunch. We carry on and include admission to Carrieres de Lumiere, an impressive show of art, image and sound underground, in former quarries. Chambery, arrival and accommodation in the charming capital of Savoie, a medieval city with a beautiful old town and a great castle.

    This historical city in southern France dates back to ancient Roman times, and the ruins of the old amphitheater can still be visited today. Vincent Van Gogh, the famous impressionist painter, live here for many years, producing over 300 works.
  • Chambery, FRANCE

    The capital of the French province of Savoy, in a valley on the western side of the Alps, south of lake Bourget, full of art atmosphere and long history, with many ancient castles, pleasant climate and beautiful scenery.

Day 4: Chambery-Geneva-Montreux-Leysin (149 km)

We travel to Switzerland.Geneva, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we can admire the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of Geneva, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (NESTLE amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included!.

After this we go on to Chillon Castle, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic mediaeval castle. We will continue travelling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages.- Arrival in Leysin.

    Geneva is the second largest city in Switzerland and a global center that houses the United Nations and many international organizations. Visitors enjoy museums, theatres, and cultural sites including Muse d'Art et d'Histoire, as well as archeological sites, historic buildings, dining, shopping, and much more.

    The Geneva Water Fountain

    Jet d'Eau, literally meaning 'water jet', is a huge Fountain on the Geneva Lake. It became a remarkable symbol for the city, therefore, it was amplified and relocated to the center of the Lake. The Fountain presents and gives the power to the place! Every time you look on its majesty you are reminded that you are in the powerful and well-organized country. Soon after being finished, the fountain became the symbol of strength, ambition and vitality of Geneva and Switzerland. Its strong engines pump 500 liters of water per second to the height of 140 meters.

    Palace of Nations

    From 1929 to 1938, this building in Geneva served as the headquarters of the League of Nations, the predecessor to the United Nations. The UN repurposed the building beginning in the wake of World War II.

  • Montreux, SWITZERLAND

    This small Swiss city sits on the western coast of Lake Geneva. It is most famous for hosting the annual Montreaux Jazz Festival, and gets mentioned in the iconic rock song "Smoke on the Water."

    Chillon Castle

    This Swiss castle provides incredible views of Lake Geneva. It is located on a narrow stretch of land on the eastern end of the lake. The poet Lord Byron was a famous visitor and carved his name into the dungeon.

    A beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities.

Day 5: Leysin-Interlaken-Lucerne-Zurich (168 km)

Today´s stage has beautiful high mountain scenery. Don´t forget your winter clothes, we climb to one of the most spectacular spots in Switzerland where you can see ice and snow all year round. We include the cable car ride up to Glacier 3000 where you can walk on the suspended bridge in the gap between two mountain peaks, enter the Ice Cathedral or ¨play¨ in the Fun Park. Stop in Interlaken and time for lunch. Among very picturesque lakes we continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Continue to Zurich, where there is time for a stroll downtown before going to the hotel.

Note: Occasionally, for major weather reasons such as rain or strong winds, the cable car to Glacier 3000 may not operate.

    This small Swiss town is a very popular tourist destination because of its beautiful location nestled in a valley among the Alps. There is a famous monastery and many popular, old-fashioned hotels in the area.

    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within or more than 31 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    10% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    25% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 10 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    35% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 3 days before departure date (not including departure date).
    Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 1 day prior to departure (not including departure date).
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
  • We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Dear Customer The tipping is not included, As of right now we only have it up to March 2023. Maybe starting January you can check back on the tour page and see if there are more dates listed . Thank You
