In this tour we will be able to learn about the life of two of the most influencial people in the history of Argentina: Eva Duarte de Peron, former first lady of the Republic and an advocator on behalf the labor and women rights; and Jorge Luis Borges, writer, essayist, poet and translator, and a key figure in Spanish-language literature.

Once everyone has been picked up from their different hotels, we will travel through Avenida 9 de Julio and Recoleta neighborhood and hear the story of Eva Peron's life. After this introduction, we will arrive at the Recoleta cemetery and enjoy a 30 minute walking tour through the cemetery. The guided visit will lead us to the mausoleums of the main historic characters of the Argentine history such as Marcelo T. de Alvear, president from 1922 to 1928, and Raul Alfonsin, the first Argentine president democratically elected in 1983 following the military government. We will also see the mausoleum of Evita and her family.
