Itinerary
GoldLeaf takes place in a bilevel dome car. This means that you are seated underneath a wrap around glass dome, allowing you an unrestricted view of the sky right from your seat.
Another feature is the open-air vestibule. That's train speak for a platform where you can step outside and get some fresh air. Its fascinating to stand out there as you wind through the mountains, meeting others from all over the world.
The dining experience aboard GoldLeaf is also taken to another level. You'll enjoy your three course, gourmet meals in a separate dining area as the scenery rolls by.
There are also extra on-board hosts to entertain you with stories about the area, as well as bring you unlimited drinks served from the bar; from fancy cocktails to local wine and beers.
SilverLeaf offers comfortable seating with seats that swivel so that you can face the seats behind you if you are traveling with friends or family. SilverLeaf also offers hot meals served at your seat, complimentary alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and access to a vestibule between cars with an open window for great photographs and that close to nature feeling.
Guests who arrive before 12:00 pm can choose one of the following optional activities with a surcharge. Tours start around 1:30 pm after being picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel of the day.

Guests who arrive a day before can choose the following optional activity. Departing at 9 am from Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel or 9:20 am Delta Calgary Downtown. No complimentary airport pick-up.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Jasper Station at 8:00 am MT by yourself (Please arrive at the train station at least 1 hour in advance to check in). Today you will travel from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, located in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains.
Today's highlights include Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass, and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. You will arrive in Kamloops between 5:30pm and 7:00pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the town, or relaxing in your hotel.

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today's journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon.

- This is a daylight scenic train (no sleeper cabins) with no off-train stops along the way.
- Onboard commentary is in English only. There is no Wi-Fi. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
- Dress for variable mountain weather. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a jacket for temperature changes.
To avoid schedule conflicts (e.g., flights or pre-booked tours), please avoid scheduling important activities upon arrival as train delays can sometimes affect your plans.

During peak seasons (Calgary Stampede period Jul 2 to 13), prices will increase by $200 to $400 per night.

1. No refund will be made for any change or cancellation of the entire order or one or all of the activities, meals, tickets and accommodation within 14 days prior to the departure of the tour;
2. 15-45 days prior to the departure of the tour - 50% will be refunded
3. 46 days or more before the tour - 20% will be refunded
4. Booking with hotel upgrade between Christmas and New Year holidays (December 16th - January 2nd), no refunds or changes will be made once confirmed
5. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
