Itinerary
To join this tour, guests should meet at the specified departure location in Florence. Today, we will take a walking tour through this beautiful Renaissance city to sample the finest of Italian cuisine. Our first stop will be in a typical Italian bar, where we will sample two unique types of coffee and some toast. Next, we'll continue to a local delicatessen founded in 1885. As we move through the streets and public squares of the city, a guide will explain to us the history of some of Florence's most notable locations. Our next stop will be at the San Lorenzo Central Market, where we will sample some of the finest balsamic vinegars, extra virgin olive oils, wines, and more! Then, we will visit a local "enoteca," where we will sample Tuscan wines, Italian cheese, and local cold cuts. Our final stop will be at one of Florence's best gelato shops. THINGS TO NOTE
Aim to arrive 10 minutes early, so the tour can start on time.
No refund will be granted for late arrivals.
Be informed that there are no public restrooms in our office.
You do not have to print your tickets. You can access your tickets on any smartphone.
Rain Policy: The tour goes on rain or shine.

- Currency Fluctuations: All tour prices are current at the time of publication and susceptible to currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.
Policies
Any guests under 18 may not consume alcohol on this tour.
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 1 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.
Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.
Cancellation Policy: The payment is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 8 business days or more prior to the scheduled tour. Cancellations received within 4-7 days of departure will incur a penalty of 30% of total purchase amount. The payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed train, etc.) within 3 business days of the scheduled tour. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Rain Policy: The tour operates rain or shine. In case of heavy rain, the bike tour may proceed as a walking tour instead. Guest options on rainy days:
Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if Segways are not ridden due to rain, or if the Segway tour is abbreviated due to rain.
50% refund for client cancellation
Rain check to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to the client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
