Itinerary

Overview

Today, we will depart from the hotel and then head to the Rainbow Falls, then proceed to the Liliuokalani Park and Gardens, continue to the famous Biscuit Factory and taste some of the hand-made flavored cookies for fre.. Afterwards we will come to visit the Richardson Black Sand Beach at the foot of the volcano, then proceed to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, look at the park's unique geographic features such as the craters, the Lava tube, and the steaming vents of the volcanoes.

Hilo, HI

Hilo is the largest city, census-designated place (CDP), and settlement in Hawaii County, Hawaii, which encompasses the Island of Hawai'i. Hilo is the county seat of the County of Hawai'i and is located in the District of South Hilo.

Rainbow Falls

This impressive waterfall near downtown Hilo, Hawaii is eighty feet tall and almost a hundred feet in diameter. Its ease of access and lack of admission fee make it a popular sight to see for visitors to Hilo.

Richardson Beach Park

Richardson Beach Park is a park located just east of Hilo on Hawaii Island. It is significant for being the only Hilo beach with special volcanic black sand. It was named for Elsa and George Richardson, who lived there.

Volcanoes National Park

Volcanoes National Park showcases Hawaii's interesting geological history. Near the town of Hilo, Mt. Kilauea, and the Thurston Lava Tube, the park boasts an incredible, dynamic landscape that is often reshaped by local volcanic activity.

Departure & Return

Pickup Service: Complimentary pick-up service is available from most hotels in Hilo. Please call local tour operator to re-confirm pick up time.
Airport Pick up: Please book the flight arrival at Hilo Airport (ITO) Before 9 am. Tour guide will meet you at the Baggage Claim Area #D.
Return Flight: Please book the return flight Hilo Airport (ITO) After 6pm.

Air fares between your city and the departure city
A mandatory service fees to the driver and tour guide (min. $10/passenger/day) except Pearl Harbor half day tour and Mini-circle half day tour (min. $6/passenger/day)
A mandatory service fees to the airport transfer (min. $4/passenger/way).
Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
All meals and drinks during the trip (tour guides will select the restaurants.
All other private expenses.

Additional Note

There will be no refund if any attraction is closed due to any force majeure factor or others out of control.
We suggest you reconfirm with us about the departure information before your departure. No refund if any guest late for the tour.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.

Redemption

You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person
(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour. For holidays like Thanksgiving holiday season, XMAS holiday season and so on, all bookings of tours are final. NO change or cancellation will be accepted.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
