Kingman, AZ
Kingman, the Heart of historic Route 66 & one of the hidden treasures of Arizona, is conveniently located on Interstate 40 and is the perfect launching point for "Route 66 and Beyond". Scenic hiking, historic charm, great cafes and restaurants, and the allure of Route 66 combine to make Kingman a remarkable destination.
Arizona Route 66 Museum
Opened September 2001 and operated by the Mohave Pioneers Historical Society; the Arizona Route 66 Museum is located in Kingmanâs Historic Powerhouse and depicts the historical evolution of travel along the 35th parallel that became Route 66.
Williams, AZ
Williams is a city in Coconino County, Arizona, west of Flagstaff. It lies on the route of Historic Route 66, Interstate 40, and the Southwest Chief Amtrak train route. It is also the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway, which takes visitors to Grand Canyon Village. There are numerous inns, motels, restaurants and gas stations that cater to the large influx of tourists rather than local residents, especially during the summer and holiday seasons.
Bearizona Wildlife Park
Visitors will drive through more than three miles of Ponderosa Pine Forest viewing North American animals in natural habitats when they visit.
Winslow, AZ
This town in Arizona gets a name drop in the Jackson Browne song "Take It Easy." La Posada Hotel is the most famous building in town. Meteor Crater is located a short drive outside of the main town.
Meteor Crater
Nestled on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater Visitor Center is one of the most popular attractions in Northern Arizona. Over 50,000 years ago space and earth came together when a huge iron-nickel meteorite, approximately 150 feet wide and weighing several hundred
thousand tons, impacted an area outside of Flagstaff, Arizona, with a force 150 times greater than an atomic bomb. The result of this impact was devastation for miles and the creation of the giant bowl-shaped cavity we call Meteor Crater, which measures 550 feet deep and almost a mile wide.

Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.
Grand Canyon South Rim
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon attracts over 5 million visitors each year and by far is the most visited side of the Canyon. As with all sides of the Canyon, the South Rim features astounding views of what took Mother Nature millions and millions of years to create.
