Start your day with a convenient hotel pickup in Las Vegas at 9 AM. Head out on a 40-minute scenic drive to the iconic Seven Magic Mountains, a colorful art installation standing tall in the Nevada desert. Spend around 30 minutes exploring and taking photos of this vibrant outdoor art piece. Next, continue your journey to the Lake Mead Recreation Area, where you’ll have 1.5 hours to explore the largest human-made lake in the U.S. Feed the fish and take in the natural beauty of the reservoir, a part of the protected national park. Afterward, head to Hemenway Park in Boulder City, where you might have the unique opportunity to spot and even get up close with the majestic bighorn sheep, native to this area. Spend about 20 minutes observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat before returning to Las Vegas for a relaxing end to your adventure.

Seven Magic Mountains
A large-scale land art sculpture designed by Ugo Rondinone (born 1964), a New York-based, Swiss-born mixed-media artis. The seven fluorescently-painted totems of large, car-size stones stacked 32 feet high.
Lake Mead
Lake Mead is the reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam. When at full capacity, it is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is a popular recreation spot for fishermen, boaters, hikers, sightseers, and much more.
Hemenway Park
This Park is comprised of approximately 10 acres and includes playground equipment, gazebos, basketball courts, horseshoe pits and 2 lighted tennis courts. Plus, the 2 lighted softball fields in the adjoining flood control basin make this park a favorite in Boulder City. One of this park's main attractions is the Bighorn sheep that come down from the mountains to water and graze. This lovely park is in Hemenway Valley on Ville Drive with a fantastic view of Lake Mead.

- It is highly suggested you bring extra water as well as sunscreen, chap stick, sunglasses, and a hat. Please bring motion sickness medication if necessary.

The day covers quite a bit—an art installation, a large reservoir, and wildlife. Thirty minutes at Seven Magic Mountains was just right for photos. Fish feeding at Lake Mead is a nice interactive touch. The bighorn sheep at Hemenway Park aren't guaranteed; we waited a few minutes before spotting several. Overall, the variety keeps the tour from feeling monotonous.

The tour picked us up from the hotel at 9 AM and headed straight to Seven Magic Mountains. Thirty minutes there was enough for photos of the colorful installation against the desert.
