Pleasant experience traveling to Philadelphia - Washington with Wonder Travel, tour guide Jackie. The program included a bit of everything (the visit of West Point Academy was a surprising choice, way better than the overrated outlets, while the Smithsonian multiple museums were definitely the highlight of the trip ) Jackie was kind and helpful, dealing with timing issues (hard traffic on a long , Easter weekend), accommodating the travelers' specific requirements or even dealing with the harsh approach of some hotel management ( Clarion in Somerset, NJ)

Itinerary
At 6:00am, we will depart from Montreal, bound for Philadelphia. After stopping for lunch on the way, we will reach the city, where we will take a sightseeing bus to enjoy a city tour of Philadelphia, one of the North American cities notable for its rich history, on display at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and other American Revolutionary sites. We will head to our hotel at around 8:00 pm.

Double Decker City Bus Tours
Experience the unique history and beauty of Philadelphia from the top of a modern double-decker bus. The open-top tours of the city offer the most spectacular views and provide entertaining live commentaries from fully-trained and friendly guides.
After breakfast, we will leave for Washington DC, where we will visit Smithsonian Institution. Then, we will visit the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and so on. Next we will visit the White House (exterior only), the official residence and office of President of the United States. We also have chance to take the Washington DC cruise for a ride on the most important canal in Central America "East Potomac River".

Smithsonian Institution

Washington Monument
This iconic obelisk is a memorial to the commander-in-chief of the American revolutionary army and eventual the first president of the United States of America, George Washington. The massive stone structure began construction in 1848.
Lincoln Memorial
This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial
This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.
Korean War Veterans Memorial
This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.
White House(Outside Visit)
The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.
Washington DC Cruise
Enjoy the view of DC on the river. Take in Washington's majestic monuments, landmarks, buildings,bridges, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the John F. Kennedy Center, just to name a few.
After breakfast, we will drive to New York and take Statue of Liberty Cruise. Then we will visit Intrepid Sea Air-Space Museum. Finally, we will visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum or Ripley's Believe It or Not in Times Square. We may have some free time in Times Square or go shopping on Fifth Avenue. Last, we will head to our hotel at around 8:00 pm.

The USS Intrepid, docked permanently in New York Harbor, is an authentic World War II aircraft carrier that now functions as a military history museum. On the deck of the ship is a collection of fighter planes.
Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
The New York City branch of this international chain of sculpture museums is one of the Big Apple's most popular spots for tourists and locals alike. Guests come from all over to see eerily lifelike wax figures.
Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum
Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square Odditorium has been shocking and wowing spectators since 1939. This museum of oddities contains over 500 pieces in 18,000 square feet, and also features live sideshow performances throughout the day.
Times Square
Called "The Crossroads of the World," this major intersection in midtown Manhattan-- where Broadway hits Seventh Avenue-- is a world-famous icon of both New York City and the United States. It has appeared in countless forms of media.
After breakfast, we will have some time to sightsee, shop or relax and have some delicious treats in New York. At around noon, we will head back to Montreal. We will do some Duty Free shopping before passing the boarder. We will arrive in Montreal at around 8:30 pm.

Had a 4 days trip to Washington and Philadelphia with guide Janet. The whole experience was totally beyond our expectations.
