    Day 1

    Rome

    Upon airport arrival, we will transfer to hotel. At the end of the evening we will transfer to Trastevere area. This neighborhood will be a great introduction to Rome, a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the Trastevere district reveals hidden treasures to us, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life.  Many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international food can be found in this area. Return to hotel.
    • Rome, ITALY

      Trastevere

      This area is the 13th rione of Rome. It features narrow, cobblestone streets lined with many Medieval-era buildings. It lies on the West Bank of the Tiber River, south of Vatican City.

    Day 2

    Rome (7 km)

    In the morning, we will have a scenic tour of Rome. We will enter the tiny state of the Vatican, visit St. Peter's Basilica, Roman Colosseum. In the evening we will transfer to the Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food. Return to hotel at last.

      Colosseum

      This nearly 2000-year-old structure is one of the most famous buildings in all of human history. At its height, it could hold up to 80,000 people, and was usually used for gladiatorial contests, executions, and drama productions.

      Via Cavour

      A street runs from the Piazza del Cinquecento north of Termini Station, near the Baths of Diocletian, south-westward past the basilicas of Santa Maria Maggiore and San Pietro in Vincoli, and concludes at the Roman Forum, a total distance of 1.3km. It houses a large number of hotels and restaurants.

We will make a complete tour knowing: Lungotevere, Ara Pacis, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Plaza de Espana with its wonderful fountain of the boat and its staircase Trinidad de los Montes, Fontana de Trevi where you can fulfill the rite of throwing your coin, Piazza Colona , Pantheon, possibly the best preserved archaeological temple of ancient Rome and we will finish in the extraordinary Piazza Navona.

    Rome - Florence (230 km)

    We will leave Rome for Florence. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Florence, we will head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening we will have a tour with a local expert, and walk through the historic centre, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. Free time to explore. In the evening, you can dine at your favorite restaurant. In this district you can find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food.

      Historic Florence, Italy is considered to be one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. Its long tradition of art and culture can be seen on nearly every doorstep. Millions of people travel here each year.

      Piazzale Michelangelo

      The Piazzale Michelangelo is located at the top of a hill, making it perhaps the best vantage point to take in a full panoramic view of this marvelous city. A restaurant at the top provides visitors with a good meal.

      Ponte Veccio

      The Ponte Veccio is a Medieval stone bridge over the Arno River in Florence. The bridge is lined by shops, something that was typical at the time of its construction in 1345; they are mostly artists and souvenir vendors.

      Piazza della Signoria

      The Piazza della Signoria features many can't-miss Florentine buildings. The Palazzo Vecchio, Florence's massive fortress of a town hall, towers above. The Loggia dei Lanzi is a beautiful piece of Renaissance architecture, bedecked with bronze and marble sculptures.

      Tuscan Dinner

      In this opportunity, you will have the chance to make a magnificent dinner in a Tuscan atmosphere. A group of musicians will set this beautiful evening. We can taste the typical products of the region. During dinner we can also enjoy live music, a pianist singer from Fiorentino will perform national and international pieces of music.

    Day 4

    Florence - Venice (203 km)

    Today we will enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. Arriving in Venice, we will board a Vapporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic centre. With a local guide, we will visit Saint Mark Basilica. Afterwards, we will visit the Murano glass factory. At the end of the afternoon, we will have the chance to eat dinner in the Mestre area, where you can choose the type of restaurant that you prefer (Indian, Oriental, Italian, etc.).

      This city off the coast of northeast Italy is famous the world over for its many canals. It is actually a chain of 118 islands linked together by bridges and waterways. Venice is world-renown for its art and beauty.

      Gondola Ride

      The canals of Venice are what make this city iconic. Gondolas are special boats designed to navigate these channels. No visit to Venice is complete without a romantic ride down the canals on a gondola.Musicians 1 tenor and one accordionist for the gondola group.

      Saint Mark's Basilica

      The Basilica Cattedrale Patriarcale di San Marco is the most famous church in Venice and is known for its unique and ornate Italo-Byzantine architecture that includes five hemispherical domes and fine patterns. It was built in the 11th century AD.

    Day 5

    Venice - Verona - Lugano - Zurich (429 km)

    We will depart from Venice to Verona. We could take a shuttle from parking to the historic centre, walking in Romeo and Juliet's city. Afterwards we will continue the journey to Switzerland. We will see Lugano and the beautiful lakes and mountains with snow-capped peaks line our route.  Arrival in Zurich, have free time in the historic centre next to the lake, where you will be able to dine in your chosen restaurant serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, international or Swiss food.

      It is one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheatre built by the Romans.

      Lugano, located in southern Switzerland, is an Italian-speaking city located on a lake and surrounded by mountains by the same name.     Day 6

    Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich (183 km)

     We will see breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to Grindelwald first. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the "footbridge over the empty' among the fantastic scenery  enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we will continue to Lucerne, enjoy the city and dine before returning to the hotel in Zurich.

      Grindelwald is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Berne in Switzerland.     Zurich - Bern - Paris (694 km)

    We will have a scenic trip to Bern, enjoy time to take a stroll and breathe in the fresh air. Next, we will journey to France. We will then enjoy beautiful lake views on our trip to Paris. We will arrive in the evening.

    Paris

    We will have a scenic guided tour of Paris. We will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of Eiffel Tower and take a boat cruise along the River Seine. We will enjoy a free afternoon. At sunset, we will transfer to the "Quartier Latin", a very picturesque area of the historic centre where you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to hotel.          

    Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day.

      Eiffel Tower

      River Seine

      The River Seine is perhaps the most important waterway in Paris. More than 37 bridges cross its waters within the city alone, and cruises along the River pass by almost every important location and sight in the city.

    Paris

    We will go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum, then have free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris.  Rest of the day free. It will be offered for travelers who are interested, an optional excursion to enjoy in Eurodisney

      This cabaret and burlesque show in Paris openend in 1946. The show is comprised of about 10-20 scenes, and each show has different themes.     • Cancellation of Orders and Penalty
      Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
    • All cancellations or changes of date must comply with the following details: (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
      118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within or more than 31 days before departure date (not including departure date).
      10% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 30 days before departure date (not including departure date).
      25% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 10 days before departure date (not including departure date).
      35% of total fee and 118 dollars will be charged if cancel or change within 3 days before departure date (not including departure date).
      Absolutely NO refund on all cancellations or postponements within 1 day prior to departure (not including departure date).
      There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
    • Itinerary Variations
      We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
    • Tour Cancellation:
      We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    • We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
