Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at the Donghwa Duty Free Shop Building parking lot near Gwanghwamun Intersection in Seoul. Depart from Seoul and head southwest to Gongju, approximately 130 kilometers away (around 1.5 hours). In Gongju, explore the UNESCO-listed Tomb of King Muryeong, a resting place with ancient artifacts and burial treasures from the Baekje Kingdom era. Continue to Gongsanseong Fortress, another UNESCO World Heritage site, with panoramic views and historic insights into ancient Korean kingdoms. Journey to Buyeo (around 1.5-hour drive), the ancient capital famed for its scenery. Stand atop the Nakhwaam Cliff Observatory overlooking the river, where 3,000 loyal Baekje court ladies are said to have leaped to their fate. Travel onward (approximately one hour) to Jeonju, celebrated for maintaining Korea's traditional culture. Visit Jeonju Hanok Village, known for its atmosphere and approximately 700 preserved Hanok homes. Check into your comfortable accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening at leisure. Continue eastward to Busan, Korea's energetic port city. Upon arrival in Busan, make a quick stop at Gimhae Domestic Airport to welcome additional travellers joining the tour. Haeundae
Blue Line Park goes from Haneundae Mipo through Cheongsapo and to Songjeong for a total of 4.8 kilometers. The park renovated an old railroad track for a tourist coastal train. The park also has a sky capsule, a four-person capsule, that rides 7-10 meters above ground.
Dongbaek Park
Dongbaek Park in Busan's Haeundae area is known for its camellia flowers and coastal walking paths. It offers views of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the sea, making it a popular spot for strolls and sightseeing.
After breakfast at your hotel, explore Gyeongju. Visit Seokguram Grotto (UNESCO site), a masterpiece of Buddhist art carved into a mountainside, with a serene stone Buddha. Next, explore Bulguksa Temple (another UNESCO site), acclaimed for its architecture, stone pagodas, and gardens. Then make your way to Andong Hahoe Folk Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site preserving authentic Joseon-era architecture, folk art, and community traditions. Wander narrow pathways lined with traditional Hanok houses; Queen Elizabeth II's visit brought international fame to this village. From Andong, journey to Wonju, a tranquil city embraced by Chiaksan Mountain and the Seom River, historically the capital of Gangwon Province during the Joseon Dynasty. Gyeongju, Korea, Republic of
Gyeongju was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla (57 BC – 935 AD), which ruled about two-thirds of the Korean Peninsula at its height between the 7th and 9th centuries. A vast number of archaeological sites and cultural properties from this period remain in the city.
Seokguram Grotto
A hermitage and part of the Bulguksa temple complex, classified as National Treasure No. 24 by the South Korean government. In 1995, Seokguram was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List together with the Bulguksa Temple. It exemplifies some of the best Buddhist sculptures in the world.
Bulguksa Temple
A head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism classified as Historic and Scenic Site No. 1 by the South Korean government.In 1995, Bulguksa was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List together with the Seokguram Grotto, which lies four kilometers to the east.
Andong, Korea, Republic of
A city in South Korea, and the capital of North Gyeongsang Province, known as a centre of culture and folk traditions. The surrounding area maintains many ancient traditions, such as the Andong Folk Festival and the Andong masks.
Hahoe Village
The village is a valuable part of Korean culture because it preserves Joseon period-style architecture, folk traditions, valuable books, and an old tradition of clan-based villages. It is listed by the South Korean government with UNESCO as a World Heritage Site with Yangdong Folk Village in 2010.
Start your final day with breakfast at your hotel in Wonju. Travel to Pyeongchang, host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Visit the historic Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium where athletes competed; note that the stadium area is visited, but the ski jump tower itself is not included. Proceed to Mt. Seorak National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve renowned for mountain peaks, forests, wildlife, and crystal-clear streams. You may take an optional cable car ride to Gwongeumseong Fortress for panoramic views of the park's peaks and valleys. Important notice: during peak autumn foliage season in October, Seoraksan National Park restricts large and medium-sized buses. If these regulations are active, the bus will park at C District Square, requiring a scenic but moderately demanding 3.6 km walk to the park entrance; if walking is not suitable, the visit to Seoraksan might not be possible during this period. In the afternoon, relax on the return journey to Seoul. Your tour concludes at the Donghwa Duty Free Shop Building at Gwanghwamun Intersection. Pyeongchang County, Korea, Republic of
It is home to several Buddhist temples, including Woljeongsa. It is about 180 km east southeast of Seoul and hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium
The Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium in Pyeongchang hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics ski jumping events. Visitors can take an observatory lift for panoramic views of the slopes and surrounding mountains.
Seoraksan National Park, Korea, Republic of
Seoraksan National Park is a biosphere reserve known for its floral diversity, including more than 1,000 species of plants known, as well as more than 1,500 species exotic birds and animals. A tentative UNESCO world heritage site, the park also features two notable Buddhist temples: Baekdamsa and Sinheungsa.
Gwongeumseong Fortress
Gwongeumseong Fortress is an ancient mountain fortress within Seoraksan National Park. Perched on a rocky peak, it rewards hikers with sweeping views of the Seoraksan range and the East Sea.

If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation: We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
