Itinerary
In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotels in Shanghai to begin this tour. Today, we will explore the city of Hang Zhou, once described by Marco Polo as "the finest and the noblest in the world." When we arrive after a 3 hour drive from Shanghai, we will first take a cruise on the West Lake, during which we will be able to see incredible scenery, which includes the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, the Bai and Su Causeways, and Solitary Hill. After lunch, we will visit Guo's Villa, where we will see the best preserved traditional garden in the city. We will also visit the Meijiawu Tea Plantation to learn about the history of Chinese tea and also the tea ceremony. Before returning to Shanghai, we will stop along the Qiantang River to overlook the Six Harmonies Pagoda. The tour will end when we return to Shanghai. Meijiawu Tea Plantation
Meijiawu Tea Plantation in Hangzhou is famous for its Dragon Well (Longjing) tea. With terraced tea fields and a rich tea culture, visitors can explore tea picking, processing, and traditional ceremonies, making it a serene and cultural experience.
Six Harmonies Pagoda(Passing By)
The Six Harmonies Pagoda, a 13-story Song Dynasty tower by the Qiantang River, was built to calm tidal bores and guide ships. Known for its elegant design and stunning views, itâs a symbol of harmony and a key cultural landmark in Hangzhou.
