Where the footage comes from

Every clip on this page was filmed by a TakeTours guide or by travellers on an actual departure. None of it is licensed stock footage. The tour linked under each clip is the one it was filmed on, so what you see is what that itinerary actually covers.

East Coast departures

East Coast tours run from New York, New Jersey, Boston and other pickup points, and range from a single day in New York City to six days covering Niagara Falls, Washington DC and Philadelphia. Admission tickets to individual attractions are optional and priced separately at the time of booking.

National park departures

Western itineraries depart from San Francisco and Los Angeles and cover Yosemite, Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, Monterey and Big Sur, running between three and eight days.
