Cube houses (Dutch: kubuswoningen) are a set of innovative houses built in Helmond and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of "living as an urban roof".

Day 3: Antwerp - Bruges - Brussels (191 km)

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Bruges, a medieval city known for its well-preserved Gothic architecture. Bruges City Hall

One of the oldest city halls in the Netherlands region, construction on this Gothic building in Bruges began in 1376. It is flamboyant and opulent, which reflects the prosperity of Bruges during the time it was built.

Basilica of the Holy Blood

This Roman Catholic minor basilica in Bruges was built in the 12th century in a Gothic style. Inside are two famous chapels: the Chapel of the Holy Blood and St. Basil's Chapel.
Brussels, BELGIUM

Grand Place

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the main square in Brussels and the city's most popular and most important tourist destination. It is bordered by several important buildings, including the dramatic Town Hall and Maison du Roi.

Atomium

This bizarre Belgian building was constructed for the 1958 World's Fair. It is quite literally designed to look like atoms. Each of the "atoms" in the structure are actually showrooms that can be reached via elevator through the connectors.

Manneken Pis

"Manneken Pis" literally means "Little Man Pee" and that sums up this world-famous statue nicely. Dating all the way back to 1619, this statue is a fountain that depicts a little boy peeing into the basin below.

Day 4: Brussels - Paris (295 km)

After breakfast, head to Paris for a visit to [Château de Versailles] (optional). Marvel at the opulent architecture, stunning gardens, and the historical significance of this UNESCO World Heritage site, once the royal residence of French kings. Afterward, you can choose to embark on a [Seine River cruise](optional) to enjoy the scenic views of Paris from the water. Overnight in Paris or nearby.

Today we'll enjoy a full-day trip in Paris. Next, we'll discover [Tour Montparnasse], offering panoramic views of the city, and [Arc de Triomphe], a symbol of French national pride. The must-see [Musée du Louvre](optional), home to thousands of masterpieces, including the Mona Lisa, is also on the list. We'll visit [Place de la Concorde] one of Paris’s major public squares, and the world-famous [Tour Eiffel]. If time permits, we will go shopping at [Galeries Lafayette Haussmann]. This office skyscraper in Paris is one of the tallest buildings in the city. Some have criticized the tower, as it rises alone among much older buildings, seeming a bit out of place in the skyline.

Arc de Triomphe

One of the most well-known art museums in the world with one of the largest collections, the Louvre houses such masterpieces as the Mona Lisa and works by artists ranging from Raphael to Monet and everyone in between.

Eiffel Tower

Boulevard Haussmann

Welcome to one of the greatest shopping boulevards in the world! Boulevard Haussmann is one of the most elegant in Paris and stretches more than 2 km from the Avenue de Friedland to the Boulevard Montmartre. While strolling on this boulevard, take a look and admire the most beautiful Haussmannian facades of Paris as well as many remarkable buildings.

Day 6: Paris - Luxembourg (286 km)

In the morning, we will travel from Paris to Luxembourg, which is known as the "Pocket Kingdom" and the "Land of a Thousand Castles". Our first stop is [Constitution Square], a significant historical site offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Next, we will marvel at the breathtaking views of the [Grand Canyon of Luxembourg], a picturesque natural formation that offers a unique glimpse of the city's landscape. Overnight in Luxembourg or nearby.

Luxembourg City, LUXEMBOURG

Luxembourg City is a commune with city status, and the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It stands at the confluence of the Alzette and Petrusse rivers in southern Luxembourg, the city lies at the heart of Western Europe.

Place de la Constitution

Place de la Constitution is a monument and square that commemorates Luxembourgers soldiers who perished in WWI. Erected in 1923, the monument symbolizes freedom and offers visitors striking views over the Petrusse Valley and the Adolphe Bridge.

Day 7: Luxembourg - Trier - Heidelberg - Frankfurt (270 km)

After breakfast, we will head to Trier, the oldest town in Germany, with a history spanning over two thousand years. We will visit [Museum Karl-Marx-Haus], the birthplace of Karl Marx, and [Porta Nigra] (also known as the "Big Black Gate"), an impressive Roman city gate that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, we will travel to Heidelberg, which is situated along the Neckar River. Here you will explore [Universität Heidelberg], Germany’s oldest university, the majestic [Schloss Heidelberg](optional), and the iconic [Alte Brücke Heidelberg], offering picturesque views of the city and the river. Afterward, we will head to Frankfurt.

Trier, GERMANY

Trier is a city in Germany on the banks of the Moselle. Trier lies in a valley between low vine-covered hills of red sandstone in the west of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, near the border with Luxembourg and within the important Moselle wine region.

Karl Marx Haus

As its name would suggest, this museum in the German city of Trier was the birthplace of Karl Marx, the perpetually-controversial philosopher who is credited with popularizing the ideas of communism and socialism in the 19th century.

Porta Nigra

"Black Gate" is the largest Roman city gate north of the Alps, a testament to the far reach of the ancient empire. This World Heritage Site was built in the 100s AD. Nigra is the only remaining of four gates.
Heidelberg, GERMANY

This German city sits on the banks of the River Neckar. It has become a popular tourist destination for its romantic atmosphere. There are many old buildings, including Heidelberg Castle and the baroque Old Town.

Heidelberg University

This public research institution in Germany was founded in 1386, making it one of the oldest in Europe. The university places a heavy emphasis on research, rewarding roughly 1,000 successful doctorates a year.

Heidelberger Schloss

Ranking among the most important Renaissance artifacts in the Alps, these ruins in Germany sit on the hillside outside the city of Heidelberg, partially demolished in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Old Bridge

One of the best known landmarks in Heidelberg, this bridge was constructed in 1788, crossing the Neckar River. It connects the Neuenheim district with the Old City, measuring 656 feet.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation Policy
We will charge a cancellation fee of 5% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event

Date or Group Change Policy (only applies to changes between groups on multi-day tours)
If a customer wishes to change any part of a booking, service fee will be charged.
We will charge a fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before the event
We will charge a fee of 30% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
