Porto Tours

This 11-day route connected Portugal's main sights from north to south, covering historic cities like Porto, Coimbra, and Évora. The pace was quite brisk with sights every day, but I felt it let me see more places in the limited time.

The tour took about a day, mostly walking through the old town with commentary from the cathedral to the wine cellars. The port wine tasting was my favorite part and it was included. Lunch wasn't provided, but that gave us more flexibility.

Six days covered a lot of northern Portugal, from Tomar to Porto and the Douro Valley, with something new every day. Entrances to places like Batalha Monastery and Coimbra University were already included, which I found convenient.

The Douro Valley scenery was beautiful and worthy of its UNESCO status. The day included a cruise, lunch, and visits to two wine estates with tastings, which felt well-rounded and fulfilling.
